Hilary Duff Sends Fans Wedding Gift After Seeing TikTok of Her Mentioned in Their Vows

Hilary Duff showed one couple what dreams are made of when she sent them a sweet message and wedding gift in honor of their nuptials.
The couple first shared a video of their vows to TikTok in June. "Growing up, I always imagined that I would be getting married to early-2000's teen idol and gay icon Hilary Duff," one of the grooms read in the clip titled "Unexpected Vows." Throughout the two-minute snippet, he made an impressive number of references to the actress. Commenters quickly tagged the Lizzie McGuire star, and, according to some comments, she shared the post on her Instagram story.
Flash forward to the present-day, and the groom has provided further confirmation that Duff saw the video by sharing the package she sent to the couple. "It arrived!" he cheered at the beginning of the video, dancing about his kitchen with a sealed box. "If my childhood self could see me now," he mused, but he was quickly struck with an idea and needed a moment before he could continue.
The groom disappeared off camera for a moment. His arm reappeared, pointing across the room as he said, "Alexa, play 'This Is What Dreams Are Made Of' by Hilary Duff," strutting back on screen to the classic Disney hit, donning a wedding dress and veil.
He went on to excitedly unbox the delivery, reading off the gift message first. "Hope you guys think of me with every bite. Wishing you many amazing memories, beautiful growth and delicious meals with friends. Love, Hilary."
The package contained several sets of silverware, and the man went on to call her a class act for the move.
The video then flashed through several other clips. "Every gay is gonna be so jealous," he said in the next one, digging into a meal with the new cutlery (still in the gown).
In the next clip, candlesticks were added to the counter, and he fed a bite to his dog in his arms, saying, "This is from your Aunt Hilary. She loves you very much."
He finally thanked the star for her thoughtfulness. "Thank you, Hilary, for this fabulous fabulous fabulous wedding gift and memory," he said, before blowing her a kiss.
Commenters were very impressed by the news.
"Imagine, 'I love these forks where did you get them?' 'Oh Hilary duff bought them for us' such a flex," one said.
"I am so happy for you lol. Never would have thought this would happen in a millions years. You deserve it!! 🥰🥰🥰," said another.
"The joy in this video will keep me going for a while lol. Congratulations! Oh, and congrats on the wedding too :P lol," the love continued.
Ms. Duff sure does know how to make dreams come true!
Parade confirmed with reps for the actress that she did, in fact, send the gift.
