Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma Are Reportedly Married

Hilary Duff shared some sneak peeks of her now confirmed nuptials. The newly married star took to Instagram on Sunday evening and gave followers a peek at the ceremony, reception, and her gorgeous gown.
For the first photo, Hilary posed alongside her new husband, Matthew Koma, their arms around one another. The picture gave us our first glimpse at the star's wedding dress, which was designed by Jenny Packham. As the photo shows, Hilary's gown draped out behind her, and she coordinated the choice of dress with a golden headband that was dotted with pearls. Behind the couple, their chariot, a Jeep Wrangler with the words "Just Married" scrawled on it, was waiting.
The Lizzie McGuire star shared a behind the scenes video she did with Vogue that detailed a bit more behind her choice in gown. "It's everything that I've dreamed of," she said of the dress. Hilary reveals in the clip that she had gone through many designers before choosing Jenny. "I knew that I wanted something modern," she said, noting that the sleeves of the dress particularly drew her in.
Additional images posted to her Instagram Story showed Hilary presumably celebrating at a reception, where she wore a golden two-piece gown covered in sparkles. "My husband," she captioned one of the photos.

People reports that the pair tied the knot in a quiet backyard wedding on Saturday, December 21. A source told the outlet that the low-key ceremony took place inside Hilary’s house in front of a group of the couple’s closest friends and family. “The ceremony started at sunset and they got married inside the house,” the source added, explaining that Hilary’s sister Hayley was super-involved with the wedding preparations. “When the ceremony was over, guests cheered. The reception was in a white tent in the backyard.”
As noted by JustJared, Hilary’s stylist Jessica Paster seemed to hint at the romantic day in an Instagram post. “Winter solstice ... a day of luv ❤️🌺☃️” she wrote alongside a photo of a bouquet of flowers.
Hilary and Matthew, who have been together since 2017, announced their engagement on social media in May of this year. “He asked me to be his wife♥️,” Hilary wrote on Insta, showing off a sparkly diamond. Her fiancé followed suit with an identical picture, adding: “I asked my best friend to marry me... @hilaryduff.” In the months leading up to the wedding, the pair continued to publicly express their feelings for one another, with Matthew writing in one post: “She said yes a month ago, and she hasn’t taken it back yet so I think we’re good?”
An engagement and wedding aren’t the only milestones Hilary and Matthew celebrated in recent years; in October 2018, the couple welcomed their daughter Banks Violet Bair into the world. “This little bit has fully stolen our hearts!” Hilary gushed at the time. “She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic.” Hilary is also mom to 7-year-old Luca Cruz, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
It sure seems like a perfectly romantic way to close out 2019, and we can only imagine that the upcoming year will bring even more joy to Hilary and her family. Congrats to the happy couple!
