Hey now, hey now! Hilary Duff has had one busy and exciting summer. In addition to announcing that she’ll be joining the highly-anticipated Lizzie McGuire reboot, the actor is gearing up to launch her very own makeup collection in partnership with Nudestix — and the products are totally something grown-up Lizzie herself would love.
Hilary’s Daydreamer Palette from Nudestix is a six-piece collection, along with a compact makeup sharpener, cosmetic mirror, and chic iridescent zip-up bag. The kit includes three eye pencils in Bright Eyes (a luxe tan), Night Dweller (a shimmering olive), and Prism (a rose gold), a lip and cheek balm, a blush, and a highlighter — all in the brand’s signature “stick” format. Like the rest of Nudestix’s products, the Daydreamer Palette is vegan and cruelty-free, and is designed to work for all skin types.
In an interview with Allure, Hilary explained that Nudestix’s multi-purpose and easy-to-use products resonated with her busy lifestyle — and the fact that she genuinely loves to play with makeup. “I'm constantly getting my makeup done, but using my fingers is really what I like to do,” she explained. “The little brush on the end of the stick unscrews, so you can wash it, because who wants to keep using the same dirty brush again. It comes with the right size pencil sharpener that's not just this big, chunky square that goes in your bag. It's just smart.”
Hilary, who is an investor in Nudestix, added to Allure that she’s always wanted to have her own makeup line, which led to her upcoming collaboration. Per Nudestix’s website, the actor notes that her collection is the “ideal accessory” for anyone wanting to do their makeup on the go, “with a little extra time to follow their dreams.”
The Daydreamer Palette ($75) will officially launch on September 10; in the meantime, you can pre-order and learn more here.
