Hilary Duff Just Cut Her Hair Into a Long Bob and We’re Obsessed
For most of her career, Hilary Duff has had either long or medium-length hair and she's basically stuck to that. But it seems Duff was finally ready for a change and she made a major one: The former Disney darling unexpectedly cut her hair much shorter, and it's officially making us consider a hair makeover this season too.
The style is a blunt, slightly textured lob that falls just above her shoulders. It's a low-maintenance cut that flatters lots of face shapes and for that reason, it will likely never go out of style. The 32-year-old actress revealed her new look on Instagram in an IGTV video tutorial on how she does her daytime holiday makeup. Instead of addressing her new hair right away, though, she waits roughly four minutes into the tutorial before she says, "I'm just warning you, this might take a little longer than usual because I just chopped my hair off." She then adds something so real: "After a big change, like a new hair color or cut, it always takes a minute to figure out your face again."
While fans are certainly accustomed to seeing Duff with long hair, they still welcomed the change and sent a ton of compliments her way. "I love love love your haircut! 💕" writes one fan. "Your hair looks GREAT 😍😘," offers another.
We're in love with this shorter style on Duff and sincerely hope she keeps it around for the holidays.
