Hilarious Puffer Jacket Ad Leaves Viewers LOLing

You've heard it once and you'll hear it again: LAYERING, PEOPLE. It is the name of the game in those mountains. Weather is variable, especially in climates like the mountains that get snow. One second it is cloudy and windy and freezing, then the next second the sun comes out and it is hot. So our boy on Instagram here talking about The North Face puffer jacket actually does has some valid points. That is why we ALWAYS push for layering. Here is how it is done over here on the really cold, or just really unpredictable, days:

1. First layer: Some nice merino wool base layers, top and bottom, with comfortable, ergonomic, snow specific socks.

2: Mid layer: This is where the puffer comes in. A nice, compact, non bulky puffer jacket and preferably puffer pants will be the perfect mid layer.

3. Final layer: Shell. A water proof shell jacket and pant will protect from wetness and wind.

Then you can add gloves, goggles, mittens, hand warmers, whatever else you choose, but these are the good basics! Trust us, you can take off what you have, but you can't put on what you don't have - and you don't want lack of preparation to be the reason you cut your shred day short. You'll thank us later!
