La Dolce Vita Orient Express announced that it will soon be ready for guests to book tickets for what could arguably be called the most luxurious train journey in the world.

In a press release shared with Travel + Leisure, the train operator shared it will open its virtual ticket window in April, with the train's specific run dates coming later this year. Though we don't know the exact dates, we already know the routes — and just got a peek at the lavish interiors.

As the release further details, the train pays tribute to the years of "La Dolce Vita" in the 1960s, when Italy experienced an economic boom, giving rise to a more glamorous lifestyle. This is evident inside all 12 of the train's deluxe cabins, 18 suites, and its "La Dolce Vita" signature suite, all boasting cozy bedding, sitting areas, delicious chocolate wood accents, and massive picture windows, so guests can enjoy the view during every second of the ride.

"We are thrilled to officially open the doors to a new era of travel with La Dolce Vita Orient Express," Gilda Perez-Alvarado, the CEO of Orient Express, shared in the statement. "This endeavor embodies the essence of exquisite exploration, where sophistication meets adventure. As we embark on this journey together, we invite travelers to experience the pinnacle of elegance and excitement, immersed in the charm and splendor of Italy."

Beyond the private quarters, guests can also mix and mingle with their fellow travelers in the train's expansive restaurant and lounge areas, or sip their favorite cocktail at the bar, which all share the same '60s mid-century modern design ethos.

Travelers can choose from nine distinct journeys, each "promising a blend of luxury, culture, and history," according to the company, with the first departure setting off in the spring of 2025.  La Dolce Vita guarantees an unforgettable adventure, with its first departures taking place in the spring of 2025.

"Today marks a concrete step towards the realization of a dream for many, but also the beginning of a new Italian frontier in the luxury market. We have created a new market segment: Rail cruises, and the response from pre-bookings has already signaled the success of this initiative," Paolo Barletta, CEO of Arsenale Group, a partner on the train, added. "Italy can once again play a leading role, not only nationally but also internationally, in the world of tourism, increasingly intercepting high-end tourism and creating a winning model. That's why we have decided to invest in a unique product capable of creating the conditions to welcome millions of travelers in a new, entirely Italian form of slow, sustainable, and luxury tourism”.
