Highland Bike Park Shares Trail Lineup For Opening Day

Highland Bike Park, New Hampshire's most popular destination for lift-served riding will open tomorrow.

Ahead of their April 24th Passholder Appreciation Day, Highland released a list of trails that will be open at the park. See their announcement below.

Highland has managed to open Freedom Trail, Cat Scratch Fever, Upper Cats Paw, Fancy Feast, ODB to ODC, Lunch Lady, and Lower Threshold. Opening day will feature both tech trails and jump trails.

Though the lineup is impressive, fan favorites like Hellion and the slopestyle course will need to wait.

Highland being able to open in late April is very impressive. New England experienced a wet, snowy spring, which usually spells disaster for trails drying out for mountain biking.

One reason Highland can open so early is that it is the only lift-served New England bike park that does not offer skiing. This means Highland can focus solely on getting biking open for spring instead of letting ski operations get in the way.

Highland will open for pass holders on April 24th and for the general public the following day. Given how dreary New England Winters can get, there will likely be throngs of riders ready for Bike Season.
