High Priority: Dirty Lemon Just Launched a (Legal) CBD Drink
From lip balm to lattes, CBD-infused products are having a serious moment. The newest member of the (legal) cannabis club? Cult-favorite beverage brand Dirty Lemon.
The makers of our favorite knock-you-out Sleep drink have done it again, this time with a brand-new elixir called +cbd that’s available for presale everywhere in the U.S. starting today. (This makes it the first widely available CBD-infused product offered in the States.) It’s $65 per case, ships July 9, and we’re calling it now, friends: It’ll be sold out in a few hours.
The buzzy beverage, which claims to “combat stress, increase relaxation and promote overall mental and physical well-being,” contains 20 mg of full-spectrum cannabidiol from BEBOE, the first “luxury cannabis brand” (whatever that means). Oh, and there’s just 1 gram of sugar and only 10 calories. It won’t give you the psychoactive effects of a doobie, per say (since there’s no THC in CBD), but it might just help make you feel a little more relaxed. Right on.
The flavor profile of the elixir is inspired by the popular “pineapple express” strain of marijuana and is tropical, fruit-forward and woodsy, according to the company press release. (Yep, we’re beyond intrigued.)
So? Puff, puff, pass the elixir.
