Hidden Valley Combined Ranch and Cheddar Cheese for an Epic New Dip

As far as I’m concerned, the Super Bowl should definitely be considered a food holiday. More specifically than that, I’d argue that it’s the biggest dip day of the year. From hearty Buffalo chicken dip to chips and salsa to blue cheese for wings, the Big Game presents no shortage of dippable snacks and dunking sauces.

One recent dipping sauce discovery may not have made its nationwide debut in time for Super Bowl LIV, but it definitely looks like it could be in the conversation for Rookie of the Year next season. Specifically, I’m talking about what looks to be a Hidden Valley Deluxe Cheese & Ranch Dip, first spotted at a grocery store in southern California by The Impulsive Buy.

We don’t have too much to go on as of yet, but it looks like Hidden Valley will combine its signature ranch dressing with an aged cheddar cheese into one ten ounce tub of goodness that covers pretty much all of your dipping bases.

While ranch and cheddar does sound like something of an unorthodox combination, it’s certainly not completely unheard of. There seem to be plenty of recipes for homemade versions of this sort of dip, so now you can finally serve it yourself without having to put in any real effort. Sounds like a winning play.

Even if you think the combo of ranch and cheddar is too weird for you, you have to admit this is far from the strangest thing Hidden Valley has ever sold. That honor probably goes to their ranch fountain, which would also probably make for a great addition to your next Super Bowl party. Or any party, for that matter.

So next time you’re shopping for a dip or something like it, keep your eyes peeled for this one. You might just find that ranch and cheese make for a perfect team.
