Dear reader, I know you’re over winter by now. The sweaty layers, the sweater sleeves bunching up in your jacket—enough! And since we collectively decided to put our faith in a groundhog however many years ago and that very animal predicted an early spring, it’s all adding up to: We need to get our warm-weather wardrobes in order ASAP.
You’re a fashion insider (I mean, you’re reading this story, after all), so you’re probably aware that back in September, the Powers That Be in fashion determined the trends we’re going to love from now into the summer. But...who can remember what even happened last fall? And why should you do all the hard work of memory-jogging when friends like moi can do it for you in a gorgeous fashion trend report? Exactement.
Let me give you a little taste of what spring 2024 fashion is all about. Clothing-wise, we’re going to be wearing micro-miniskirts, luxurious draping, and plenty of dramatic fringe. You’ll want to accessorize with purses that have major buckle details, come in pretty candy colors, and can carry absolutely everything. For shoes, throw on a pair of flip flops (yup, you heard that right) or heels with heavy hardware or 3D florals. Then finish off your look with some jewelry: Either statement cuffs or a choker complete with animal-inspired details for something bold. Rawr!

THE JEWELRY TRENDS
Sorry, minimalists, but as far as jewelry in spring 2024 is concerned, we’re making capital-S statements all season long. From cuffs that’ll have passersby stopping in their tracks to say, “Wait, are those golden hands? I cannot!!!!” to animal forms that are literal works of art, we are going big and not ever going home...unless it is to pile on even more bling!
Also? Watches are back, so get ready to be extra punctual. Stack a few on your wrists just to make by-the-book people confused and mutter, “Kids these days.” Oh, and while we’re on the subject of arm candy, bicep cuffs and chunky bangles are having a major moment too. And in news pertaining to above your arms: Chokers will have everyone in a, yes, chokehold come spring. Okay, I’m actually really excited just typing this out. THE CLOTHING TRENDS
You didn’t think I’d forget about clothing trends, did you? Because I’d never! Especially since the clothing (or ready-to-wear, for those of you industry buffs out there) is actually to-die-for and I, for one, can’t wait to put it all on. You may have noticed peplum making a splash at the Oscars this year, and that’s because it had a huge comeback on the runways in the fall. If you’re a millennial, I know what you’re going to say: How about...um...no? But this time around, the little flounces are soooo chic, I promise.

THE BAG TRENDS
What is it about purses? Just looking at them gives me the same dopamine hit as a snuggly puppy sleeping on a blanket. As evidenced above, the trendy bags this coming season are sure to make you smile...or at least smash “add to cart.” Personally, I can’t wait to snag a style featuring that chunky woven material.
I’m also really happy to report that spring bags will be both practical and fabulous. We’re fitting everything we need on the daily in classic shopper top handles and huge slouchy silhouettes. THE SHOE TRENDS
I can’t get over how eye-catching but ultimately functional all the shoe trends are for spring 2024. Okay, like, first, yes, Crocs-esque shoes are still here! And you know what? They’re comfy as hell! You can’t deny that the rhinestone-encrusted pair above is as cute as it gets. Pssh, don’t even try.
