If your weekends look anything like ours, they're bound to involve flipping back and forth between two very different types of television: nostalgia-inducing sitcoms, and, well, pretty much whatever's on HGTV.

Which is why we were thrilled to find out that the two ultimate genres are joining forces in HGTV's A Very Brady Renovation. It's exactly what it sounds like: a makeover show featuring the iconic North Hollywood home of our six favorite step-siblings. And the renovation will be performed by Property Brothers' Jonathan and Drew Scott, along with a slew of other familiar HGTV faces.

The news got even more real when actress Maureen McCormick, known for playing the eldest daughter on the show, shared a photo of the home's front door. Her Brady Bunch costar Christopher Knight and the Scott brothers posed in the shot, too, giving us major home improvement FOMO.

Here are a few other things we think you should know about A Very Brady Renovation:

Will anyone from the original cast make an appearance?

Yes! In fact, all six of the Brady kids are reportedly taking part in what's bound to be the throwback TV event of the year. Besides Maureen (Marcia) and Christopher (Peter), Barry Williams (Greg), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), and Susan Olsen (Cindy) are reuniting to make the magic happen. Each actor will be tasked with restoring a different area of the home, with the help of an HGTV star, of course.

What HGTV hosts can we expect to see?

Maureen will be joined by Drew and Jonathan, and the trio will be responsible for the front of the home, as well as the entryway and living room.

Meanwhile, Mike is set to work with mother-daughter team Karen E. Laine and new mom Mina Starsiak of Good Bones to reimagine the second floor hallway and landing and the boys' bedroom.

Eve is pairing up with Restored by the Fords stars Leanne and Steve Ford for the family room and kitchen.

Christopher will redo the master suite with Jasmine Roth of Hidden Potential, who'll also be working with Barry to bring some Brady charm to Mike’s den and office.

Together, Eve and Barry will give a makeover to Greg’s attic and Alice’s room with a little help from Lara Spencer of Flea Market Flip.

The Good Bones hosts return to work with Susan on the girls' bedroom, the second floor landing, the hallway, and the bathroom.

Oh! And maybe, if we're lucky, there'll be a Lance Bass appearance. (The 'NSYNC member was actually in the running to buy the house until he lost the bidding war to HGTV.)

How extreme will this renovation be?

According to a press release from HGTV, there is, in fact, a whole lot of renovating to be done.

The home started out nearly empty and devoid of any real interior design elements. That's because the house was only used for exterior shots. Now, HGTV plans to add a whopping 2,000 square feet to the home in order to re-create the look of the memorable Brady Bunch TV set.

"From the unforgettable signature wood-paneled living room with floating staircase to the orange and green kitchen and the kids’ Jack-and-Jill bathroom. The Brady Bunch house will forever hold a special place in television history and American pop culture," the release said.

So excited. Have there been any sneak peeks?!

Yes-and big ones at that! In May 2019, HGTV announced that the renovation was officially complete and shared some gorgeous shots of the interior.

We spy a staircase that's nearly exactly like the one we know from the show, and that's just the start of the fun. There's a ton of other 1970s-esque, throwback decor going on, which makes sense, since the show's producers went so far as to host a nationwide scavenger hunt to source era-appropriate pieces from fans.

The cast also shared a slew of photos from the reveal, and it looks like they had almost as much fun during this reunion as they did filming the original series. Maureen even called the group the "best crew ever," and we believe it!

How long until we get to watch?

A Very Brady Renovation will makes its long-awaited debut this September on HGTV. As always, we promise to keep you posted as soon as we know more. Check back to this page for details!
