HGTV Star Tarek El Moussa Says Life "Humbled" Him as He Reveals New Injury

Ouch: Flipping El Moussa star Tarek El Moussa in nursing a broken arm!
In a video uploaded to his Instagram, Tarek revealed that he broke his arm right before attending the Zeta Live 2023 summit in New York City with wife Heather Rae El Moussa. As he showed a clip of himself lifting weights in the gym, the snippet quickly switched to him at the airport sporting a cast and sling on his right arm. While he didn't explicitly share details about the injury, he did explain how it came at an inopportune time in his life.
"I woke up Monday morning feeling SO motivated and at the peak of my fitness game," he wrote on September 28. "And then 10 hours later life humbled my a** real quick. 🤣 But a broken arm can’t stop me! We’re here in NY for #ZetaLive23 and having a blast! Hope you guys are enjoying the incredible lineup of speakers as much as we are, and keep tuning in throughout the day for more. 💪🎉."
Given the fact that Tarek is extremely physical in his daily life, seeing him with an unexpected injury threw his fans for quite a loop. As a result, they immediately rushed to his side to send kind words while he heals.
"How did you break your arm! Ouch! Get well!" one person wrote on Instagram. "Yes, I hope you feel better, and it heals fast! 🤞💪🏼," another added. "Oh no! I’m so sorry you got hurt! Speedy recovery 🙏🏽🙏🏽," a different follower commented.
Despite the unforeseen setback, the injury isn't stopping Tarek from working on his business goals. Just a few days earlier on September 21, he went on Instagram to announce his plans to release a memoir on February 6, 2024, titled Flip Your Life. As he explained in the caption, the book will detail his personal and physical journeys, including his battles with cancer and addiction.
