Interior designer Leanne Ford knows spaces and how to fill them fashionably. The star of HGTV’s Restored by the Fords just dropped a new collection with one of your favorite registry retailers, Crate and Barrel, on Thursday, February 20, and you’ll want to add just about everything to your wishlist.

“I love the idea of my designs being a part of a couple’s new life together,” Ford tells The Knot with an emphasis on love. “One of my goals in designing this collection was to make pieces that stand the test of time.” Ford says her design vision in conjunction with Crate’s craftsmanship has resulted in quality pieces. “I hope happy couples will enjoy [these pieces] for years to come–maybe even on their 50th wedding anniversary.”

Ford’s collection include everything form home accents (think watercolor painted throw pillows, ceramics handmade in Portugal, basket woven pieces) as well as functional furniture, including a twist on the traditional canopy bed, sturdy communal dining tables, neat wardrobe alternatives and more. Much of it is in-line with Ford’s expertise of combining neutrals with textures, whether she’s layering white-on-white pieces or showcasing contrast through colors.

According to Crate and Barrel, the collection was guided by global and historic influences. Newlyweds or engaged couples building out their homes will certainly find hosting a bit easier with these chic items filling out their kitchens and beyond. Ford has advice about how you should approach home design especially with the registry. After all, tastes differ—even when you’re married.

“It’s important for young couples to combine their favorite existing pieces, while still making room for new furniture and decor they choose together,” she notes. “[That way, they’re able], to create a home that reflects them both. I love that my pieces might just have the honor of being part of those big decisions.”
