HGTV can't be stopped: If you loved watching the collective work of The Brady Bunch kids alongside your favorite TV hosts on A Very Brady Renovation, you're going to want to tune in for Rock the Block. HGTV’s new competition series switches up the game, showing a different side of well-known home reno stars and honestly, we're wondering why this hasn't happened before!

Here's everything you need to know about Rock the Block.

What is Rock the Block about?

Rock the Block features four of HGTV’s most talented women going up against each other to transform identical suburban Los Angeles properties into one-of-a-kind homes that stand out from the rest on the block.

Over the course of four weeks, the hosts renovate side-by-side homes with a budget of $175,000 each. The woman who adds the most value to her pad will claim victory: a street named after her on the most rocking block in the country, and of course, bragging rights.

Throughout the series, special HGTV guests assess the spaces in each home as they are completed and name a weekly winner. At the end of the four weeks, there will be a full top-to-bottom inspection of the newly renovated homes before the winner is officially crowned.

Who is the cast of Rock the Block?

HGTV’s new competition series is the ultimate showdown between the fiercest women in the home renovation and design business. The cast of Rock the Block includes:

The Property Brothers star and real estate expert Drew Scott is the host of the show.

He's joined by several guest judges: Holmes & Holmes’ Mike Holmes evaluates the kitchens, while 90 Day Dream Home’s Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt looks at the rooms and outdoor living spaces. Rehab Addict’s Nicole Curtis and HGTV Smart Home’s Tiffany Brooks also stop by as special guests.

Are there any Rock the Block sneak peeks?

Production for Rock the Block took place in July 2019, and since then, viewers have caught glimpses of what’s to come, including a fun trailer showing the stars hard at work. The four competitors also shared their own photos along the way—Roth assured everyone the show will spotlight great designs and plenty of silly moments.

HGTV revealed that Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa would appear in the premiere episode to help judge the master suites and decide who created the ideal bedroom oasis.
