After just six weeks, Battle on the Beach has come to an end. The HGTV competition series paired three up-and-coming home renovators with design experts Taniya Nayak (Build it Forward), Ty Pennington (Rock the Block), and Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab). Bryan and Sarah Bauemler of Renovation Island joined the show as judges. The teams tackled the kitchen, main suite, living room, extra bedroom, and exterior renovation of the beach houses in Alabama.

After the fifth episode left viewers with a major cliff-hanger, episode six kicked off with a quick resolution: Bryan and Sarah Baeumler revealed that Kelsey and Ryan of Team Taniya won the $3,000 prize for the exterior renovation. Then the Baeumlers announced that each team was given the day and an additional $5,000 for any final tweaks. Bryan advised the teams to address any critiques they were given along the way, and they all got to work.

A panel of local real estate experts evaluated the homes to determine which team added the most value to the property, and the results were very close. The teams increased their homes' values by 38.5%-42.5%. After the renovations, each home was estimated at over $1 million, but one came out on top, and that was Ashley and Steve of Team Ty!

Ashley and Steve were met with hugs and words of congratulations, but most importantly, a briefcase full of money. As winners of Battle on the Beach, they take home a $50,000 cash prize.

HGTV shared a clip of the episode and fans left comments like, "Congratulations TY! That’s my fav home this season!" and "So happy for the winners ❤️" Another fan wrote, "I think all three houses turned out great and anyone could have won. I like that Team Ty won! I could do without the huge bed though! My favorite house though was Team Allison even though a hate the green color the kitchen was very nice, don’t like the “X.”

HGTV has not announced whether Battle on the Beach will be returning for another season, but rest assured, there are plenty of new HGTV shows to watch this summer.
