Hey, Your Weekly Tarot Horoscope Is Here

From Cosmopolitan

You don't need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: Your Sun sign! Here's what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces, plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!

A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: FOUR OF SWORDS

Don’t stress out about the holidays. The Four of Swords is like a "let yourself off the hook!" pep talk, asking you to trim down your commitments, expectations, and obligations right now. Less is more. Less is, actually, inevitable, because this is 2020, after all. Refuse to bow to any inner pressure to make this year extra magical, special, or memorable. I'm not saying be a big, old Grinch and refuse to celebrate—but just enjoy what’s right there in front of you. Savor the little things. Make do with what you have. You can go 100mph again when the world has recovered, but, for now, take it easy.

ARIES: SEVEN OF WANDS

The Seven of Wands is a vibe you understand: competition. Your blood pumps faster when you sense there’s a rival nearby, and this card indicates that there is. It doesn’t mean they’re an enemy or even someone you shouldn’t get along with, it just means they’re a person who can nudge you to rise to a challenge, to be better, to work harder. Use them as ~fuel~, use the competition you feel to super-charge your efforts. This is a bonus.

TAURUS: THE CHARIOT

You are thinking about your ~place~ in the world, be that the role you're playing or your actual physical location. The Chariot represents these things but, more importantly, it means you want to make progress in a new (and better) direction. Use this surge of willpower to set down some new goals. Moving home? Changing jobs? Researching a wonderful vacation for when it's safe to take one? All of this could happen. Dream big.

GEMINI: TEN OF CUPS

The Ten of Cups brings a gentle, romantic, authentic loving energy into your world, and it’s more than welcome. In fact, maybe you could pull out a chair and ask it to stay with you forever. The Ten of Cups hints at bonds that last, the type of loyal relationships that deserve top billing in your life. Take care of your loved ones. Make time for your partner. Celebrate with friends, however you can. The people in your world love you dearly. Let them show you.

CANCER: FIVE OF SWORDS

You don’t like falling out with people (Who does? Oh, OK, Aries). Cancer, brace for impact because the Five of Swords hints you will face a conflict this week. Don’t worry, though, because it won't be as bad as you fear. Sometimes you need to be firm, even if others don’t like it, and this is one of those times. Be brave and speak up. The storm will pass, and others will be left with a clearer understanding of your resolve.

LEO: THE HERMIT

Of all of the signs, you’re perhaps THE most social and outgoing. However, The Hermit suggests you’re just not in the partying mood right now. Usually, you’d be in the thick of festivities. But not in 2020. You need to stay in, and right now, you actually want to get cozy inside. You *get* that things can’t be how they normally are this year, and you’re ready and willing to play it differently. In fact, it’s a welcome change.

VIRGO: PAGE OF WANDS

The Page of Wands is like the tarot’s herald or messenger, and it comes bearing news, gossip, information, opportunity, and invitations. Make sure he can find you, and make sure you check your spam folder, because all these emails/texts/DMs include some gems that you won’t want to miss out on. Expect the unexpected, get ready to say YES, and enjoy everything coming your way this week.

LIBRA: NINE OF COINS

Decision making is a double-edged sword for you. Examining the details comes easily to you, but actually making a choice does not. You are a procrastinator. This week, your decisions are guided by this advice from the Nine of Coins: Think about the long term. Base all of your choices on what’s going to be best or beneficial in the big picture. Short-term rewards don’t really count. Look far ahead, and make shrewd decisions to help get you there.

SCORPIO: SEVEN OF COINS

A project, role, or relationship you’ve poured a lot of effort into has stalled, and now you're reflecting on how much you still want to be involved. It’s a fair question—you might be doing this out of habit, rather than because it's positive or rewarding. The Seven of Coins enters our life when we reach a crossroads. It asks us to consider a new path. You might be ready to make a change.

SAGITTARIUS: FIVE OF WANDS

You and your big mouth, Sagittarius! What have you said now? You are the most #nofilter sign in the zodiac, and it can get you into trouble. Like now. The Five of Wands shows your blunt nature has gotten on others' nerves. Never apologize—I can’t say that's the ethical advice, but you can get away with it. Put on a big smile, carry on being fabulous, and soon enough they’ll forget all about it. Just don’t add fuel to the flames.

CAPRICORN: THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE

The Wheel of Fortune is symbolizes that the only constant in this life is change. Nothing stands still, and nothing lasts forever. And neither should you, Cap. Get busy making moves this week. Stop the things you want to stop, and start the things you want to start. Push that wheel of fortune and let it pick up momentum, creating a ripple effect across your life. Change is coming, and you can be the initiator—so you can keep things moving in the right direction.

AQUARIUS: PAGE OF COINS

Whatever you focus on learning this week will eventually help you out in your career. So, head to the library, bookshop, or career forum, and spend some time exploring something that interests you, but you can’t necessarily see a use for right now. The Page of Coins promises that it WILL play a role later on. If you start now, it’s like you're giving the Universe a signal that you want this to happen.

PISCES: JUSTICE

Justice is a powerful card about playing fair, playing nice, taking the high road, and looking after yourself—and letting karma take care of the rest. Whatever has happened this year that was unkind or unfair, know that you will soon be vindicated. You will get what you deserve (and so will they…). Don’t stop the process by engaging in revenge or backbiting. Just leave them to their fate. Your future is bright. Keep swimming, Pisces.
