Hey, James Corden! Kelly Clarkson Wants Her Grammys Consolation Puppy
The Grammys were great and all, but Kelly Clarkson has a bone to pick with host James Corden and the Recording Academy.
It all started when Corden announced Dave Chappelle as the Best Comedy Album winner and then promised all other nominees in that category, including Jerry Seinfeld, a “consolation puppy.” Well, Clarkson lost out to Ed Sheeran for Best Pop Solo Performance and she’s still waiting for her puppy, thank you very much.
The “Love So Soft” singer took to Twitter to call out the Grammys’ power-that-be, writing, “I mean, what the hell @JKCorden and @RecordingAcad I didn’t get my puppy consolation!? I'm calling bulls—. Y’all owe me a puppy.”
Someone get that woman a tiny pug, STAT.
