Hershey’s New Grinch-Inspired Kisses Just Might Land You on the Naughty List
If you think it’s too early to be discussing holiday candy, well, sorry, but you’ve come to the wrong place. Hershey’s is backing us on this one, clearly, because it has already announced its offerings for 2021. Aside from the new Kit Kat and Reese’s flavors, there’s a bag of Hershey’s Kisses that will speak to your inner hairy, pot-bellied, cynical Grinch from How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Hershey’s Kisses and Dr. Seuss’s The Grinch have come together to give us a treat that would even make the Grinch’s heart grow three sizes. While there isn’t a new flavor to go along with the treat, they look festive. The milk chocolate pieces are covered in 10 limited-edition foils that were inspired by Grinch, like him with a Santa Claus hat, his sayings, and his trustee sidekick, Max. Just imagine how cute they’ll looked piled up in your candy dish.
The Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates with Grinch Foils are already rolling out in stores nationwide now. They’re available in 7.4-ounce ($2.99) and 9.5-ounce ($3.49) bags for a limited time. But that’s not all Grinch has for us! Hershey’s is teasing that there are more Grinch surprises on the way later this holiday season. Oh, the humanity!
“The holidays are a time to create new special memories, so we wanted to make sure your season is sweet in a big way with your favorite flavors, fun holiday shapes, and new ways to enjoy the treats and tastes you love,” Melissa Biette, senior associate brand manager, Hershey holiday team, said in a press release. “This season is our biggest line-up of holiday offerings so, no matter how you are spending the holidays this year, there is a treat waiting for you to enjoy all to yourself or with a loved one.”
To make these new Kisses a little more giftable, there’s the new Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolate with Grinch Foils Cane. For $2, you can snag a 2.08-ounce candy cane-shaped container that’s filled with the special foils, complete with Grinch on top. It looks like we know what we want in our stockings!
