Hero Saves Precious Dog Found Discarded in a Dumpster
This man was in the exact right place at the right time.
A man named Michael Bowman Jr. said he was on a break from from his job when he discovered something inside a dumpster near Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Pulaski, Virginia. This something was a precious little dog that was trapped in a bucket with its four little legs bound in electrical tape.
Thankfully, the dog is in the care of veterinary services and animal control and is doing okay.
Bowman was quoted as explaining, “I just happened to be at the right place at the right time and just helped him. As soon as we got that tape off him, he drank a half-a-mug of water and ate these little chewy treats … he started feeling better."
He's such an adorable little pup! People on Facebook agree and are rightfully ticked off at the garbage person who did this.

Shame on you!!!!" @Jackie replies, "What a sick and weak nothing of a person to do this!" @Donabass adds, "Omg, please don’t ever let me witness this!! I’ll be in jail." @Deborah says, "Thank God somebody found the poor dog. Don't know who did it; but I hope they find the person and do the same thing to them."
People have been clamoring to adopt this precious pup, but he's not available for adoption yet since this is an active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Riddle at 540-994-8609.
Here's hoping they catch the monster who did this and this dog goes to a loving, safe, forever home soon!
