Hermès Just Showed Fashion's Next Luxury 'It' Pieces for Spring 2024

Hermès has always been adept at both the art and science of commerce, releasing clothing and accessories that are instantly en vogue yet somehow, remain timeless across decades. The legendary Birkin and Kelly bags are the prime examples, of course, but for a more contemporary anecdote, simply look to the Oran sandal, a calfskin flat with a ubiquitous "H" cut-out that's a staple among the Upper East Side ladies who lunch and #BamaRush hopefuls alike.

For its Spring 2024 collection, the iconic French fashion house — led by Creative Director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski — presented its latest offering that is sure to tickle the same breadth of crowds. The garments, yes, were remarkably wearable with a sporty edge, some of which came in a color palette of the season's top hue, an on-trend oxblood. But the accessories — including flat, strappy sandals and crescent-style bags of all shapes and sizes — made a compelling case for the next luxury "It" pieces come spring.
