If there's one thing that can make you go from feeling pampered to panicking, it's being locked out of your villa on a tropical vacation. Netflix's newest reality show competition, Surviving Paradise, puts its contestants in this exact nightmare scenario. Think: Survivor, but with influencers.

The game, hosted by Jessimae Peluso, is introduced to viewers as an "epic game of strategy." At the beginning of the season, contestants believe they are headed to an island for a reality show in paradise to compete for $100,000.

But, there's a catch—they have to compete for a spot inside the luxury villa... while everyone else is expected to "survive" in the wilderness surrounding it. The cast is quickly divided between "Insiders" and "Outsiders," and lots of challenges are played.

The entire show relies on alliances between contestants. And if you're a big reality television fiend, you know those never quite work out as planned.

So, before you binge-watch attractive people suffer through camping from the comfort of your couch, here's everything you need to know about the newest Netflix series:

Who is in the cast of Surviving Paradise?

The Surviving Paradise cast includes lots of people who are, with love, not cut out for roughing it. Here's a rundown of who's who in the cast—plus where to find them on Instagram.

Where is Surviving Paradise filmed?

Surviving Paradise is filmed in Lefkada, Greece, according to IMDb, which is known for its tropical, mountainy landscape. The show itself is also reportedly produced out of the United Kingdom.

Host Jessimae Peluso told Bustle that, at one point, filming had to halt due to a "torrential flash flood rainstorm."

What else happens during Surviving Paradise?

Lots of drama (obviously). As the cast is divided between Insiders and Outsiders, alliances are quickly formed and destroyed. At one point, a romantic relationship begins between contestants Taylor and Shea (which does not last long at all). Plus, the total prize money is doubled from $100,000 to $200,000 (and nearly makes it to $250,000).

Contestant Linda Okoli recently told Netflix that "everything" on the show (or, at least her behavior and intentions) is "real," so it's definitely not a reality show you want to miss.

Who wins Surviving Paradise season 1?

Drumroll, please... The lone Survivor of Paradise is Linda, but there's a twist. At the end of the last episode, Linda beats out Shea for the "winner" of the series in a six to four vote from the eliminated players. However, Jessimae offers Linda the opportunity to split the $200,000 prize with another contestant. If she chooses to keep the money for herself, she'll win $250,000.

In a surprising act of kindness (like, it sort of shocks everyone), Linda offers to split her winnings with Lellies. The winner basically says that she couldn't leave without uplifting the person that she came with—Lellies. While the other contestant is a little shocked, she's of course thankful that her friend gifted her $100,000.

Will there be a season 2 of Surviving Paradise?

As of right now, it has not been officially renewed for another season. However, Surviving Paradise currently sits in Netflix's top ten television shows—which makes it a great contender for a potential season 2 pick up. Time will tell!
