While there's no doubt Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting closer than ever, the latest word on the royal romance street is that there's one scenario the couple will almost certainly avoid: an elopement. That's right! We may have another Westminster Abbey wedding on our hands, and sources still say the big moment could be "fast approaching."

According to E! News the pair, who have been together for nearly nine months, are taking their relationship pretty seriously. "It's, of course, very serious and both Harry and Meghan are focused on the future," an insider explained. "Engagement talk isn't just between the two of them, even some of Harry's closest aides are quietly expecting news before the end of the year."

But it sounds like no matter when Harry pops the question, the couple hopes to keep their engagement private. "Right now, Meghan is trying to keep her head down, work hard and stay out of the media," the source shared. "The past few months have been difficult and had its ups and downs with the amount of attention on her future with Harry, engagement talk, wedding talk, etc. She's hoping that if this is something that happens they can keep the news private for a while before having to go public."

Another source has only confirmed Harry and Meghan's focus on the future of their relationship, saying, "They talk about their future plans together all the time. There's no doubt that he won't propose before the year is out and it won't come as a surprise to Meghan." Another royal wedding? Yes, please.
