Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are coming to New York City once again next week, and this will be the Sussexes’ third trek to the Big Apple in less than a year. This time, the visit is in conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly to commemorate Nelson Mandela Day on July 18, according to reports from the UN and People. Prince Harry is set to speak at the event.

Back in 2019, Meghan and Harry toured the continent of Africa and visited various countries. On that trip, they went to Johannesburg, South Africa, and met Graça Machel, Nelson Mandela’s widow. (Prince Harry and Graça previously met for the first time back in 2015.)

In September 2021, the Sussexes came to NYC for various appointments, including reading to second graders in Harlem. 🥺 Meghan and Harry attended the reading with U.S. ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield, and Meghan read her book The Bench to the kiddos.

By November, Meghan and Harry were back in the Empire State for the annual Salute to Freedom Gala, which honors the U.S.’s Veterans Day and England’s Remembrance Day (Prince Harry was in the British Army for 10 years, FYI!). Archie and Lilibet’s parents hit the red carpet for the event looking more dapper than ever:

With all these trips to NY, am I the only one thinking the Sussexes may need to get a home here soon if they keep making these regular cross-country trips?! Guess time will tell!
