Teen queen JoJo Siwa hit the scene with a trademark look fans could spot from miles away. A high ponytail with a matching bow was JoJo's signature look, but things began to change after she celebrated her 18th birthday. The actor and dancer started wearing the accessory less and less before she began wearing her hair in cascading waves and ultimately chopping her long locks into a cropped pompadour cut. JoJo's aesthetic continued to transition as she wore a dress and heels for the first time in her life at the American Music Awards last November. JoJo's interior design is the latest area the teen has decided to change. She opened up to People about her decision to take her style "down a couple notches."

Fans first noticed a change to JoJo's interior design on her TikTok. She confirmed that she was intentional about changing up her aesthetic and explained why. "That is true. We did take it down a couple notches, and that's because I used to be a very, very dedicated and committed YouTuber," she said. "I would always film in the house, and I wanted to be Jake Paul back in the day… Then my career shifted into more music, more TV, more movies, more that type of stuff. When I stopped filming in the house every day, it was really weird for me to come into the house, and it felt like work. So I told my family, "Let's change the house to a nice, pretty, calm, serene house."

JoJo has been intentional about switching things up as she gets older. After hitting the red carpet in a dress and heels for the first time, JoJo told Us Weekly, "I had this transition while being on Dancing With the Stars, where I've gone from dressing like I normally dress to kind of looking more adult. And I was like, I want to branch out of my comfort zone."
