Obviously, every cast member this season is VERY IMPORTANT, but today we’re here to learn a little more about Jack Matthews, a man who’s been causing a ton of controversy, both on and off your poor, long-suffering television. The drama is largely due to the fact that Jack Matthews has been caught being racist and sexist, a less-than-ideal combination in any human, let alone someone who is being filmed on a live-feed 24/7.

Jack’s awful behavior has become a whole thing, so let’s dive in and get to know this discount Jason Momoa ASAP.

First, Jack Matthews‘ Bio

Thanks to CBS’s truly insane cast bios, we know that Jack is 28, lives in Tampa (aka the city Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello won’t stop making out in), and is a fitness trainer—which explains how swoll he is. Ironically, he thinks the word "integrity" best describes him, which HAHAHAHAHA.

Some fun facts about Jack? He can "snatch 275 lbs” (wow, cool, I’m so impressed 😐), he can wiggle his ears, he works for a media business, and he can “walk on [his] hands for quite some time.” What a catch!

ICYMI, Jack Matthews Is SUPER Controversial

When Jack was first cast on Big Brother, everyone assumed he was a harmless Jason Momoa look-alike with great hair and a perpetually flexed bod. But things quickly changed. Thanks to the Big Brother live feeds, it soon became more than clear that Jack has no respect for women. Need proof? You got it, dude. Here he is calling two female contestants “maggots”:

He‘s Legit Obsessed With Kemi

For reasons that no one understands, Jack is incredibly and very weirdly obsessed with fellow contestant Kemi Fakunle. Live-feed watchers have been chronicling his harassment of her, so yeah, of course there are receipts.

He even said he wanted to “stomp a mudhole” through her chest.

GTFO, JACK.

Big Brother Is Watching Him

But not closely enough. Jack admitted that CBS producers were aware of his behavior, and fans caught the moment on a live feed:

The thing is, the show hasn’t followed through, and fans who want Jack kicked off are accusing the production team of protecting him by cutting moments that reveal his blatant sexism, specifically toward women of color:

There‘s a Change.Org Petition to Boot Him From Big Brother

Almost 10,000 people have signed, lol. The petition states “Jack Matthews has said numerous racist things and has been very aggressive towards the only black woman in the Big Brother house, including saying he wants to ‘stomp a mudhole through her chest.’ He needs to be expelled for Kemi’s safety and to show that it’s not okay to be racist in 2019, especially on tv.”
