Season 2 of HGTV's Lil Jon Wants to Do What? is underway, and of course we all know who Grammy award-winning rapper Lil Jon is, but who's his female voice of reason on the show? Lil Jon's renovation partner-in-crime is self-coined design maximalist and renovation junkie Anitra Mecadon.

You may remember Anitra from her appearances on Who Stole the Electric Car?, All American Handyman, the DIY Network's Mega Dens and Behind the Build: HGTV Dream Home. It's safe to say, she's a seasoned pro when it comes to home renovation and TV show hosting.

With the wild popularity of the first season of Lil Jon Wants to Do What?, and tons of buzz around season two, which premiered July 10th, it seems like we'll be seeing a lot more of Anitra in the future.

Just like Lil Jon, Anitra lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia, where she has been the designer behind countless projects including restaurants, boutiques, galleries and homes. With 15 years of interior design experience and a knack for home renovation, she is the perfect choice for this series.

In the show, Anitra acts as the voice of reason, reeling in Lil John's awesome yet extravagant (and often expensive) ideas. She expertly executes his plans while staying within budget, managing time constraints and utilizing all the preexisting features their clients' spaces have to offer.

Anitra has been married to her husband Adam Bret since 2013, and they have one son together. Bret is a producer, and he has worked on two shows starring his wife: Mega Dens and Lil Jon Wants to Do What?.

Catch more of Anitra this season on Lil Jon Wants to Do What? streaming on Discovery+ and Max and airing on HGTV Sunday at 9 PM ET.
