Marcus and Michael Craig - Military brothers
Marcus and Michael were true examples of one bad task essentially ending your race. Coming into the Megaleg as one of the teams to beat, they stumbled at the start when Marcus struggled in the Roadblock. Unfortunately, it was a deficit they were never able to make up. Despite doing well at the other tasks, and continuing the seamless navigation that made them frontrunners to begin with, there was no room for error, sending the brothers out in fifth.
Which teams finished at the top tonight?
Despite starting the second half of the Megaleg with two teams in front of them, Luis Colon and Michelle Burgos were the first to navigate themselves into Ronda. It was a lead they never gave up, giving them their third first-place finish of the season. They were followed by Aubrey Ares and David Hernandez and Derek Xiao and Claire Rehfuss, with both couples struggling with fear of heights during the Roadblock.
Which teams finished at the bottom tonight?
Emily Bushnell and Molly Sinert found themselves in the back of the pack due to navigational troubles and Emily's knee injury increasingly becoming a problem. And they faced more of the same in the back half of the Megaleg, getting turned around many times in Ronda. But they were able to make it through and maintain their position, avoiding yet another elimination.
