It's been a crazy year for Yellowstone fans to say the least. After constant rumors regarding Kevin Costner's standing on the series, we were finally given the confirmation that Yellowstone will come to an end after the latter half of season 5—with a new spinoff series potentially starring Matthew McConaughey to follow. With all of this news strung on us, now seems like the perfect time to catch up on Yellowstone before our favorite story comes to a close.

Paramount Network's cowboy drama has been one of the best things on TV over the last few years. Ree Drummond fell in love with it for all the obvious reasons, and just like the rest of us, she's eagerly awaiting the release of season 5, part 2.

Whether you've never seen a single episode or you're looking for a way to relive the Dutton action all over again, you might be wondering: How and where can I watch Yellowstone? There are options for both cable subscribers and those who prefer to stream their shows through apps, plus a few purchasing possibilities. No matter how you watch, a Yellowstone marathon is the best way to get acquainted with the star-studded cast, including Kevin Costner, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes, Jen Landon, and more.

Is Yellowstone over after season 5?

Unfortunately, season 5 will be the final season of Yellowstone, ending the show's record-breaking cable run. The first 8 episodes of this season aired back in January before the show went on its mid-season break. While it was initially slated to return in summer 2023, Paramount has set a new tentative return date for November 2023. There is still no official news on how many episodes part 2 will have.

On the bright side, this isn't the last time you'll be seeing many of your favorite Yellowstone faces. According to Deadline, season 5 will be followed by a yet-untitled sequel series that's set for a December debut.

How can I watch Yellowstone if I don't have cable?

Yellowstone is the Paramount Network's most-watched cable show, but you won't find it on the new Paramount+ streaming service (which will be home to all of the Yellowstone spinoff shows, including 1883 and 1923). Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, and season 5 part 1 are all available on the Peacock streaming service. You'll need a Peacock Premium account to watch, but it's only $4.99/month and you get a free 7-day trial.

In addition to a front-row seat to all the Dutton drama, Peacock will also give you access to tons of other channels, original series, live sports, and more.

Past seasons of Yellowstone are also available for purchase on Amazon Prime Video.

How can I watch season 5 of Yellowstone?

Right now, Yellowstone season 5, part 1 is finally available to stream! You can catch all 8 episodes on the Paramount Network website by signing in with your cable provider. As with all things cable, there are periodic commercials. Streaming episodes of season 5 are also available for purchase on Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, and Vudu.

Also, beginning this fall, Yellowstone will make its debut on the television broadcast company, CBS! Though no premiere date has officially been announced, PEOPLE reported that the network will begin with season 1 sometime in the fall, airing on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. This is definitely good news for Yellowstone fans who want to fill their Sunday night plans!
