Chip and Joanna Gaines are back with an all-new installment of their Fixer Upper franchise, and this time, they're renovating a castle! The renovation super couple is back in action to update the 1913 Cottonland Castle in their hometown of Waco, Texas. And of course a renovation of this size is not without its struggles. But, as usual, Chip and Jo are up for the challenge!

Joanna shared the trailer with her fans on Instagram and said, "What an honor it was for us to restore this iconic century-old castle to its former glory." The trailer sets up viewers for some drama. As Joanna explains, it turns out to be a way bigger renovation than they anticipated. They experience a water leak and have difficulty sourcing materials.

You have options! The six-episode series will debut in three places on Friday, October 14 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m CT. and then air on Friday nights with the finale on November 18. You can watch it on Magnolia Network, but HBO Max and discovery+ subscribers can watch it on those streaming services as well. Subscription plans for HBO Max start at $9.99 a month. Discovery+ plans start at $4.99 a month and the service offers a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

Is the Castle Open for Tours?

Yes, but there's a catch! The castle is open for tours but only until October 30, and it looks like most of the dates are already sold out. If you happen to be in Waco this month, you might get lucky and score tickets.

What Will Happen to the Castle after the Show?

According to the Magnolia website, "Chip and Jo plan to sell this home to someone looking to live in Waco’s beautiful Castle Heights neighborhood." Sounds like it's time to call up your real estate agent!
