Here's How to Watch 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' for Free

One of your Halloween traditions may look a little different this year. The family classic It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown won't be airing on PBS, but there is still a way to watch it for free. It will just take a bit of planning. So gather the family and mark your calendar.
Will It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown be on cable?
Apple acquired all the Charlie Brown specials, including A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas, in 2020. Previously, PBS has aired the holiday specials, but the network confirmed that this year, they won't be airing the Halloween show at all. But there is a way to watch it for free!
Regretfully, PBS does not have the rights to distribute the Peanuts specials this year. We’ll all have to watch for the Great Pumpkin in a different pumpkin patch this Halloween.

How to watch and stream It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown:
AppleTV+ confirmed that the show will be available on its streaming service for free October 28-October 31. Subscribers can watch them anytime, but non-subscribers can watch it for free during these dates, as long as they have an Apple ID.
If you can't watch during that window, you do have options. Apple TV+ is available starting at $4.99 a month with a 7-day free trial. Or, you could buy the DVD and watch whenever you want.
And, if you want to plan ahead, Apple TV+ confirmed that the same will hold true for their other holiday specials. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will be available for free November 23 through November 27, and you can watch A Charlie Brown Christmas for free December 22 through December 25.
