Here's How To Vote This Season on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Dancing with the Stars is filled with changes this season, including the return to ABC and a dynamic new hosting duo: Alfonso Ribeiro and co-host Julianne Hough. But one thing remains the same—you can still vote for your favorite celebrity on Season 32. Wondering how you can help decide which celebrities keep their dancing shoes on for a chance at the Mirrorball Trophy every week. Here's how to vote on DWTS in 2023.
When can I vote for DWTS?
Each week's voting period will open when that week's Dancing With the Stars episode begins broadcasting live at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC.
The move back to network TV also means a return to voting during the live broadcast in the Eastern and Central time zones only. During this time, online voting will be available to fans in any time zone in the U.S., its territories and Canada via dwtsvote.abc.com, and fans with a participating U.S. wireless carrier can also vote via SMS/text.
Viewers on the West coast, Canada and Puerto Rico will have to vote without seeing the performance.
Live viewer votes will be combined with the judges’ scores each episode to determine which couples may be in jeopardy of elimination.
What time does voting close on Dancing with the Stars?
Live voting will close during the final commercial break shortly after all couples have danced, and will not be available during later broadcasts and/or streaming.
How can I vote for DWTS online?
Fans can vote during the appropriate period every week at dwtsvote.abc.com. You must be at least 18 years old and in the United States, Puerto Rico or Canada to vote online.
Note: The Disney+ livestream starts at the same time as the broadcast on your local ABC station, based on your location.

How to vote on Dancing with the Stars via text
To vote by text, you must have a U.S. wireless carrier and be located in the U.S. or Puerto Rico; message and data rates may apply. Simply text the proper celebrity name to the DWTS SMS keyboard to cast a vote for them. SMS voting is not available to viewers in Canada.

How many times can I vote each week?
You are allowed 10 votes per voting method (online or SMS) during every week's episode. If you vote via ABC.com, you can change your vote distribution at any time during the voting window, as long as you click the "Save Votes" button afterward.
Episodes will also be available to stream on-demand throughout the season for Disney+ subscribers shortly after the simulcast. In addition, episodes will be available to stream on-demand the next day on Hulu.
