Watching A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding certainly isn't a prerequisite to learning about history, but if you're looking for a silly Christmas movie, that'll give you breathtaking snapshots of Romania, add it to your "Up Next" queue on Netflix.

In case the title of the film didn't spoil it already for you, the movie follows normal American Girl, Amber Moore (played by Rose McIver) as she makes her move across the pond to marry Prince Richard (played by Ben Lamb) and become the future Queen of Aldovia. Her new home in the film is the real-life Peleș Castle in Sinaia, Romania and it quickly became my favorite aspect of the whole movie.
