Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen—dubbed by some as “football’s first couple”—have called it quits on their love story. The famous pair officially filed for divorce on October 28 after 13 years of marriage.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback met the international supermodel on a blind date back in 2006. By early 2009, they were engaged, and over the next three years, Gisele gave birth to two children, who joined Tom’s older son, Jack, whom he shares with actress Bridget Moynahan.

Throughout their relationship (and many Instagram posts), it’s evident that Tom and Gisele love their kids very much. And they’re all different: “Jack is just like me—he holds a lot in. Benny lets it all out. Vivi, she doesn’t care. They’re going to be their own selves, not who you want them to be,” the star football player told Men’s Health in 2019.

Since announcing their split via their Instagram stories, many are wondering how the divorce will affect their children. Fortunately, it seems like they've been making their children a priority.

Ahead, learn all about the couple's kids.

Tom Brady has three kids.

He has two sons and a daughter: Jack, 15, Benjamin Rein, 12, and Vivian Lake, 9.

He shares Jack with Bridget Moynahan.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion shares “Jack,” a.k.a. John Edward Thomas Moynahan, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, whom he dated from 2004 to 2006. Jack was born on August 22, 2007 in Santa Monica, California, per People.

“Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child but also loved our child as if he was their own,” Moynahan told People in 2019. “I don’t think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love and grandparents that go on forever, and it’s all good.”

Gisele told People that she was “so grateful” for Bridget and that she “couldn’t imagine my life without” Jack. She later called Jack her “bonus child” in her 2018 memoir, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.

Jack has been a ball boy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Jack loves sports,” he told Men’s Health. "He wants to try hard, and he never wants to disappoint his dad. That was me. I’d wake up early on weekends to do stuff with my dad. That’s why I didn’t party a lot. If Dad wanted to golf, I wanted to be there with him. And if I ever missed those things, it would crush me.”

In August 2021, back when Jack was 13, he worked a summer gig as the ball boy for the Buccaneers. (What a gig!) "He takes his summer job and every rep very seriously," Tom wrote on his IG story. The Buccaneers posted a photo of them walking together on the ‘gram, and Tom referred to it as the “best part” of his day, according to People. Brady has also called him “Dad's favorite workout partner,” via Pop Sugar.

Tom wants Jack to pursue his interest in football—and the two practice together. Most of the time, Jack plays free safety, but sometimes he’ll play quarterback, according to Pop Sugar. He revealed on his podcast, Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray, that they had a sweet moment while watching the University of Michigan versus Ohio State game back in 2020.

“I had a little future Wolverine, my son Jack, sitting on the bed with me as I was jumping around and we were wrestling,” he said. “‘That's where you're gonna be! You're gonna be in the Big House someday. You're gonna be the starting quarterback for Michigan.’”

In October 2022, Tom mentioned on his podcast that he loves to help Jack learn about the game. “I love watching him play quarterback because I think there's very few things in life that I could probably help him with,” the athlete said. “You know, I don't have a lot of specialties in life other than probably throwing the football.”

Gisele gave birth to Benjamin Rein during a home birth.

Benjamin Rein was born on December 8, 2009, at the couple's home in Boston. "It was a home birth and it was funny because he [Tom] didn't want me to have a home birth," Gisele said in a 2021 episode of Man in the Arena: Tom Brady, per PEOPLE. "He was like, 'Absolutely not,' and I was like, 'Excuse me, you don't get to choose that, it's my body.' "

It actually ended up being a very special moment for him: "Me being there with G at his birth in our home, it lives in my mind,” he said in the ESPN+ series Man in the Arena: Tom Brady. “I think we brought this boy into the world in the most precious way.”

As for his interests, they’re different from Jack’s, which was hard for Tom at first. “When Benny came along, I thought he would be just like Jack,” he told Men’s Health. “So I was like, ‘C’mon, let’s do this.’ And he was like, ‘Nope.’ And I was like, ‘What? No, do this!’ And Gisele kept saying to me, ‘Would you effing understand that your son is different?’ It was hard for me. I was like, ‘What do you mean? He’s a boy; he should just do all these things that I do.’ The reality is that Benny just likes different things. And it’s great because now I just have to go do what he wants to do.”

Vivian Lake was born on December 5, 2012.

Vivi was also born in Boston, and she definitely has a special bond with her dad. “That little girl owns my day—owns my life," he told Entertainment Tonight in 2016, when she was three years old. “[I] cannot say no to anything. Whatever she tells her dad to do, that's what I do. That's just the way it goes.”

He's also the good cop at home, playing the softie dad. “I think it's the worst for my wife who's trying to instill some discipline in her and I just give her whatever she wants," Tom added.

And he was happy his sons are growing up with a sister around. "I grew up in a house with three sisters,” he told ESPN five days after Vivi was born. “I think it's great for my boys to have a girl in the house, just to understand at least a little bit about what makes a woman tick—not that I can certainly figure that out, because I can't. She's a beautiful little girl."

But of course, he’s a little protective. He posted an Instagram story of Halloween decorations in someone’s yard, a tombstone that read “Anyone who dates my daughter,” captioning the post “I want to be crystal clear about this,” with some laughing emojis, per People.

When it comes to her hobbies, she definitely takes after her mother, doing yoga and meditation, which Gisele posts cute pics of on Instagram.

The kids are growing up in different places.

Jack primarily lives in New York City with his mom, Bridget and her husband, Andrew Frankel, per People. But Tom makes sure to visit him—he even flew there to watch Jack’s practice football game this past September. "Tom was in great spirits and chatted to all the parents," a source told the outlet. "He flew all the way in for the scrimmage."

Benjamin and Vivian, on the other hand, live with their parents—in Boston when Tom played for the Patriots, per TMZ, and now in Florida, in between Tampa and Miami, where their parents are.

Tom and Gisele plan to prioritize their kids.

While the couple has officially filed for divorce (and Gisele even said it was "finalized" on her IG Story), an insider source told E! News that they plan to share joint custody of the kids.

“My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart,” Gisele wrote in her IG story announcing their divorce. “We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they greatly deserve.” Tom wrote a similar message.

Once they worked out the details of their settlement, “there was no reason to wait,” a source told E! News. “They're both ready to move on and move ahead. They agreed on joint custody and dividing their assets. They plan to co-parent and keep things drama free for the kids.”

Their divorce document is “short” and their settlement terms will remain “confidential,” a source told TMZ.

Gisele will most likely spend time in the Miami Beach area, where she’s been staying during the past few weeks amid their separation. So, it’s safe to assume the kids will be back and forth between Miami and Tampa, where Tom is playing.

It’s clear Tom and Gisele are super dedicated parents, so I have no doubt they’ll be in the best hands growing up.
