Here’s Reportedly How Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Are Spending Their First Days as Parents

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas confirmed the birth of their first child earlier this week, releasing a short statement that read, “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby.”

While the couple did not reveal the sex of the baby, multiple reports say it’s a girl. TMZ is even reporting. (As for how the couple reportedly landed on that name, sources tell Us Weekly, “Willa isn’t a family name and isn’t short for anything…. [It] is a name they had picked out awhile ago before the baby’s arrival.”) 

Sources who spoke to E! News claim the new family of three is now home and enjoying their time together: “They are home and getting settled. Joe is very hands-on and involved. He wants to do everything he can and loves being with the baby and helping Sophie.” Turner and Jonas sound like every new parent we’ve ever met, which is very cute. The source who spoke to E! also said they are “so excited to be parents” and have “been texting pictures to friends and calling on FaceTime to show her off. Everyone is very excited for them.”

The couple never spoke publicly about Turner’s pregnancy, choosing to keep it to themselves and, presumably, their close friends and family. “Joe and Sophie welcomed a baby girl last Wednesday in L.A. and are over the moon,” a source previously told Entertainment Tonight. “The couple is already obsessed and can’t stop gloating about their new addition. The couple is taking time to enjoy this special moment and have only shared the news and updates with family and friends. With the pandemic, Joe and Sophie have been very cautious about who is around them and their little girl.”

Turner and Jonas got married in Las Vegas in May 2019 and then held a second, more traditional ceremony in France later that summer. 

Here’s hoping Jonas and Turner are squeezing in a few hours of sleep while enjoying their newborn. We can’t wait until they share a photo of the little bundle of joy.
