The food at award shows is notoriously unpredictable. One day it's a Nobu sushi spread, and the next it's a "revolting" slice of bagged pizza. It only makes sense that celebs would collect their trophies (or mourn their losses) and head straight to the nearest In-N-Out.

According to this year's Oscar's host, Jimmy Kimmel, that's not the only reason. "The award show tradition is In-N-Out after the show," the late night host told People. "And I think part of why is because when people are in LA, one of the things on their list is to go to In-N-Out—and there are a lot of people that are in LA just for the Oscars—so they wind up going like, 'Okay.'"

"You get very hungry, so In-N-Out is definitely the award show tradition," he added.
"Nothing against McDonald's, but on award show night, it's In-N-Out."

In case you missed it, Paul Giamatti went viral after the Golden Globes this year when he was spotted celebrating his Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical award with an In-N-Out burger. The Holdovers star was captured at the fast food joint still in his tux. He later addressed the viral moment in his awards acceptance speech at the Critics Choice Awards, telling the crowd, "Wow, guys. I didn't think my week could get any better than going viral for eating a cheeseburger. Serious, guys, I need that endorsement. So, let's all just pray for me."

He's not the only one to celebrate his big W animal-style (IYKYK). Here are all the celebs who made In-N-Out their official post-awards show hangout.

Julia Roberts

In 2019, Roberts famously hit up the fast food joint alongside her husband after the Golden Globes. "Fun Night W My Fella," she wrote on Instagram, with a snap of the pair kissing with In-N-Out in hand. "And to all a good (burger) night. 🥰"

Rita Wilson chimed in too, writing, "It’s the best post awards show stop!"

Reese Witherspoon

Witherspoon posed alongside Nick Kroll at an Oscars after party while chowing down on a burger, and it should hardly come as a surprise. Vanity Fair's iconic Academy Awards after party has routinely hosted an In-N-Out food truck for attendees. In fact, according to Business Insider, the restaurant once served 1,424 burgers at the event.

Priyanka Chopra

Chopra shared her post-Oscars "treat" to Instagram back in 2017 with a smiling burger selfie.

Brie Larson

Brie Larson shared a fun snap with her Oscar in one hand and In-N-Out burger in the other back in 2016. She was captured again alongside Denzel Washington and Jamie Foxx that same year with In-N-Out, but at the Golden Globes this time.

Aziz Ansari

One fan enthusiastically filmed Masters of None star Aziz Ansari in 2017 while ordered In-N-Out after the Emmy's—with his award in hand, no less.

"So this just happened, looked to my left. Saw an Emmy. Looked up, saw @azizansari CONGRATS MAN!!" the bystander wrote on Twitter.

Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde

Back when Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde were a couple (RIP), the pair hit up the burger joint post Oscars for a "fancy feast." The Don't Worry Darling director shared a snap of her then-fiancé as he retrieved their drive-thru meal.
