Here's the Real Reason Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart Skipped the 2019 Teen Choice Awards

Another awards show, another night of swooning over cute pics of Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart– wait. Um, where are they rn? The 2019 Teen Choice Awards have begun and Sprousehart are nowhere in sight. (It seems like only KJ Apa from Riverdale is present, and he was WORKING that business casual look.)

But for a show with multiple nominations, including Choice Drama TV Show (which they won!), why isn't more of the cast present? Cole and Lili were even nominated for Choice Ship, as well as Choice Drama TV Actor and Actress.

Presumably, they were busy celebrating Cole, Casey Cott, and Madelaine Petsch's August birthdays on a farm. Tons of the Riverdale fam were out celebrating their friends and hanging out with goats. Because why not.

Both Cole and Lili spent some ~quality~ time with said goats, and it's precious.

Despite news reports last month the couple broke up, both celebs have joked (or not joked) about the news.

But for Cole's birthday earlier this month, Lili wrote a heartfelt poem to him on Instagram. Clearly, these two are still happily together ...right? Their relationship timeline may be more unpredictable than the events on Riverdale, but fans are happy to see them still joking together as they continue filming season 4.

And speaking of filming, the cast shared a pre-recorded message of them on the Riverdale set, thanking everyone for voting for them for Choice Drama TV Show. They revealed they couldn't make it to the award show because they were filming in Vancouver. (But, also, because they were busy playing with cute goats. Can't forget that.)
