Here's Queen Elizabeth Living Her Best Life At The 2021 Royal Windsor Horse Show

The Queen may have had her fair share of notoriously stoic moments in the past, but it stands to hold that nothing peaks Her Majesty's interest quite like the sight of animals. (For instance, this reaction to cows in 2018.)

Following her week-long royal visit to Scotland, the queen was spotted back in Windsor, England earlier this afternoon, looking chipper for this year's annual Royal Windsor Horse Show. Her Majesty was additionally photographed rolling up to the function in her signature Range Rover while emitting a nonchalant demeanor with her trendy, small oval sunglasses.

Throughout the event, the queen was seen enjoying front row seating and wore a monochrome ensemble including a mint-green midi skirt and navy blazer. She was also accompanied at the event by Penny Romsey, the former close confidante and driving companion of the late Prince Philip.

This horse show event comes after her final engagement in Scotland for Royal Week earlier this morning, during which the queen visited the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute (ECCI) at the University of Edinburgh to learn more about the organization's work on combating climate change. She was accompanied by her daughter, Princess Anne, for the event, who has served as chancellor of the university since 2011.

Royal Week has been an annual tradition for the queen, where each summer, she tours regions of Scotland to celebrate Scottish culture and honor various Scots for their noble backgrounds and occupations. The queen was accompanied by Prince William throughout this year's Royal Week, which took place from June 28 to July 1.
