Rain barrels can be used to collect water and store it for when you need it to water your garden or wash your vehicle.

Saving water helps protect the environment and diverts water away from storm drains, decreasing the impact of runoff to streams, the press release said.

The sale is open to those who live within and outside of city limits.

Upcycle Products, a company the city’s Environmental Services Department has used for several years repurposes food barrels into rain barrels and composters.
