It's hard to believe it's been four months since Olivia Rodrigo's song "Drivers License" and the drama surrounding it completely took over our lives. For awhile, it seemed like all anyone could talk about was the love triangle between Olivia, Joshua Bassett, and Sabrina Carpenter and, honestly, I'm still not completely over everything that went down. So, in honor of the return of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, let's check in on this drama and see how Olivia and Joshua are doing now.'

It's unclear exactly how things are going between the pair following the release of Olivia's third single, "Good 4 U." Like her other two tracks, fans are pretty convinced this one is also about Joshua after listening to some of the lyrics like, "Well, good for you, I guess you moved on really easily/You found a new girl and it only took a couple week."

That being said, it seemed like "Deja Vu" was about Joshua as well, but he took to Instagram to praise Olivia on the song after it came out. "SUUUUUUPER late on this but I love this song so much," Joshua wrote. "The world better watch out for the album!!!!!"

In addition, the pair has a new duet, which premiered during the first episode of season two of HSM:TM:TS. Olivia and Joshua actually play a couple on the show, so that means they were able to put their past drama behind them for the new season and work together on set.

Recently, Joshua has even been making some choices to avoid more drama. Back in February, the singer announced that a duet with Sabrina called "We Both Know" would not be featured on his debut EP, as was originally planned. "I didn’t want my EP to be overshadowed by some other narrative that people were trying to make," Joshua told Billboard.

It's unclear where things stand now between Sabrina and Joshua or Sabrina and Olivia, but as far as Olivia and Joshua go, the pair seem to be on good terms and I, for one, am excited to see them back on my screen.
