Here's How Much Ariana Grande Got Paid For Her Coachella Set

From Seventeen

When Ariana Grande sang “I want it/I got it,” in "7 Rings", she literally meant it. "7 rings" is the boss babe anthem. In the "7 Rings" lyrics, the 25-year-old boasts about all the money's she got. "Whoever said money can't solve your problems/Must not have had enough money to solve 'em," she sings. If that's not enough, she also let us know her receipts be lookin' like phone numbers. And she's not lying. With so many projects– her albums, her tours and her newly dropped merch line– Ariana’s rolling in enough dough to buy whatever she wants, that’s including 7 engagement rings for her best friends. She never waits too long in between projects, so you can probably bet her net worth only gets higher every minute.

If you’re aware of just how expensive it is to buy a ticket for an Ariana concert, then you probably know she's making lots of money from her albums and tours. She’s in high demand. That’s why she reportedly raked in $8 million for her headlining performance at Coachella 2019. The festival booked Ariana after their talks with Kanye West fell through. Coachella got their money’s worth, though. Her set included performances with Diddy, Nicki Minaj and ‘NSync, minus Justin Timberlake who couldn't make the rehearsal time. Justin was out performing for his own tour, but still sent support to the rest of the guys. If you want to catch the action yourself, instead of reading about it, you can still get tickets to Ari's week 2 Coachella performance.

Ariana’s always got surprises up her sleeve, take her Mean Girls-inspired music video to “Thank U,” Next” or the NASA-inspired merch line she debuted at her Coachella set. The merch line, which features features a crew neck with the words “This Is One Small Step for Woman,” is available online for anyone to purchase, whether you attended the festival or not. "NASA," a play on the actual space organization, is the name of one of the songs on her Thank U, Next album. In the song, she sings about needing space from her lover. She’s supposedly also set to launch a “Thank U, Next” beauty line sometime in the future. According to WWD, Ariana filed a trademark for the title, "Ariana Grande Thank U, Next." It was filed for beauty products including fragrances, body scrubs, body mists and more. That’s sure to bring in a lot more cash for Ari.

With so many music drops, how does Ariana have time to sleep? Since her debut album, Yours Truly, was released in 2013, Ariana has dropped hit record after hit record. Her latest album, Thank U, Next, was released just six months after her previous one, Sweetener, which won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, making her stock go up a lot higher. Thank U, Next also had the largest streaming week for a pop album in history. Period. If that’s not enough, with her singles “7 Rings,” “Thank U, Next,” and “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” Ariana became the first solo artist to hold at the top 3 spots in the Billboard 100 at the same time. So, she’s definitely getting paid!

Ariana’s also raking in dough from her tours. With the start of her Sweetener World Tour, Ariana can bring her tour count up to four. According to Billboard, her last tour, the 2017 Dangerous Woman Tour, brought in $71 million, part of that coming from the merch she was selling at her concerts. With a Grammy and two new albums under her belt, we can expect her new world tour to make some serious dollars. You can still get tickets to Ari's Sweetener World Tour.

Though she’s set to launch more beauty products, Ariana already has her hand in the fragrance space. With company LUXE brands, Ariana’s released four fragrance, the latest one “Cloud,” released in Fall 2018. In 2017, LUXE brands announced that Ari’s fragrance brands had made more than $150 million in two years.

With Ariana in high demand, it’s no wonder brands want her as the face of their products. So, her endorsement deals with brands like Reebok, Guess and MAC Viva Glam have also earned her a pretty penny. Ariana Grande was part of Reebok's push to connect with women. She was featured in a series of women's empowerment ads they released in 2018.

Before we knew Ariana as a singer, we knew her as Cat from Victorious and the spinoff, Sam & Cat. Who could forget that bright, red hair? During the first season of Victorious, Ari was making $9,000 per episode, according to TMZ. The money was well-deserved, though. In a lengthy Facebook post in 2014, Ariana said her role as Cat completely damaged her hair. " I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat... as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair," Ariana wrote. She explained her hair damage was the reason she always wore her iconic ponytail. During her time on Victorious, Ariana also earned money for writing original songs. As the show grew in popularity and towards a spinoff, her price only went up probably.

Since her start as an actress, Ariana’s been working hard and the dollar signs reflect that. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Ariana’s net worth is sitting at about $80 million. With Ariana's new projects coming soon, that number is definitely set to go up. Wen Ariana's not spending money on herself, she's probably using it to advocate for animals' rights. She's vegan and has it made it pretty obv she's a huge animal lover.
