Here's the 'Love It or List It' Update You've Been Waiting For

Love It or List It has been an HGTV mainstay since it first aired back in 2008, but since the last new episode premiered in January 2019, fans have been begging for more. The show's 14th season brought in more than 25 million viewers who love watching designer Hilary Farr and real estate expert David Visentin guide homeowners through difficult decisions, with plenty of competition and banter along the way.

After a lengthy hiatus, the popular show is finally coming back, and it will be here so soon! HGTV confirmed that 8 all-new episodes will air on Monday nights beginning on September 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The official Love it Or List It Instagram account has been teasing the news with its followers and were met with a flurry of comments from excited viewers.

Here's what HGTV has to say about the first episode: "In a special 90-minute season premiere, Hilary will be her own client as she renovates a quaint North Carolina cottage into her dream home. The project will offer unexpected turns when she discovers a rotting foundation and termites eating through the subfloor. In true David fashion, he’ll take on the challenge of convincing Hilary to trade in the fixer-upper for a move-in ready house. After she transforms the broken-down bungalow into a home that meets her needs and David finds a place that has all the items on her wish list, Hilary will ultimately have to answer the highly anticipated question: are you going to love it or are you going to list it?"
