Here's a look at what you can expect at this year's Shriners Fest in Evansville

Shriners Fest, the Hadi Shrine Temple's summer street festival is less than five weeks away, and new things are coming to this year's event.

Here's what you need to know.

When is Shriners Fest?

Shriners Fest is June 21 and 22 at the Shriners Lot on Walnut Street. Friday's events begin at 10 a.m. with opening ceremonies. Saturday's schedule starts at 7 a.m. with Operation 5K led by the YMCA.

What activities will be included this year?

  • Inflatables: Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Food trucks: Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to Midnight

  • Beer garden (for attendees 21 and over): Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight

  • Car show: Friday from 3 to 8 p.m.

  • Rumble on the River (boxing): Friday at 4 p.m. for weigh-ins and 5 p.m. for matches

  • Live music: Both Friday night and Saturday night

  • Jeepers on the Riverfront (For Jeep enthusiasts): Saturday, 9 a.m.

  • Cornhole tournament: Begins at 1 p.m. Saturday

How much will Shriners Fest cost?

Admission is free but registration for the car show is $20, the Jeep show ranges from $20 to $25, Rumble on the River tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 13. The cornhole tournament is $30 per team that would like to play.

Is the Shriners Fest half-pot happening this year? How much are tickets?

Yes. It kicks off on May 30 and goes until June 22. The drawing will take place at 7:30 p.m. that day. Ticket prices: One ticket is $5, three are $10, 20 are $20, 50 are $40, and 100 are $150. Tickets must be purchased with cash.

Where can I buy tickets for the half-pot?

Booths will be open at several locations from Thursdays to Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.

  • East: Brinker's Jewelers -111 S. Green River Road

  • West: St. Joe and Lloyd Expressway, 2400 W. Lloyd Expressway

  • North: North Park, 4400 N. First Ave.

  • Downtown: Circus ticket office, 6 Walnut St.

  • Newburgh: Hardee's, 4033 Bell Road

  • Princeton: Lupe's Mexican Grill, 2020 W. Broadway St.
