WARNING: Major spoilers for Selling Sunset Season 5 lie ahead.

Season 5 of Selling Sunset premiered this weekend, giving viewers ten episodes packed with maximalist fashion and inter-office drama. This season included both expected storylines and total surprises, from the rise and fall of Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim's relationship to Christine Quinn's alleged scheme against Emma Hernan. Fans were left with more questions than answers, some of which were answered in a reunion special that was released on May 6.

However, the show's future is pretty much guaranteed, with the new season hitting no. 1 on Netflix immediately after its release. Though the streamer has yet to release an announcement, reunion host Tan France ended the special by saying, "Bring on Season 6!" Us Weekly also reported last January that Netflix renewed the hit for two more seasons. An insider told the outlet that filming on seasons 6 and 7 will be delayed so the cast can have "a bit of a break" before production starts.

As for what's next for the Oppenheim Group, several realtors have had big work and life updates since season 5 wrapped. Following her breakup with Oppenheim in the season finale, Stause has spoken about her family planning, telling People that she's looking at her options, including having a child alone.

"I would love for [finding the right partner] to happen, but if it doesn't, I feel like I can do it on my own," she told the outlet. "That's something that seems scary, but it also seems a little freeing, knowing that I'm not tied down to this idea that I only have this finite amount of time to figure it out."

Meanwhile, two members of the cast have started their own businesses. Maya Vander, who decided this season to spend more time in Miami with her family, opened her own brokerage last February. A source told Us Weekly that the bicoastal agent that she's also still involved with the Oppenheim Group and will still be handling deals in California and Florida. Vander herself told the Domenick Nati Show in December that she is "probably not going to be a full-time cast member" going forward.

Quinn has also started a real estate company, teaming up with her husband Christian Dumontet to launch a business that lets buyers purchase homes with cryptocurrency, per Forbes. The realtor is no longer a part of the Oppenheim Group, with Jason Oppenheim saying in the reunion that there is currently "no place for her." It was recently confirmed to People that Quinn will not be returning for Seasons 6 and 7 of the reality series. She previously told the outlet her decision to leave the brokerage was so she could focus on her own business.
