The latest season of Hulu's The Kardashians takes us even deeper into the eventful lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family as they navigate raising kids, finding love, and balancing their successful business ventures. Season 3 hones in on a feud that ensues between sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian Barker after the Barkers' extravagant Dolce & Gabbana-sponsored wedding that took place in Portofino, Italy. ICYMI, Kim collaborated with the Italian designers on a capsule collection featuring pieces inspired by the classic '90s silhouettes with her modern signature style four months after Kourtney tied the knot with Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker.

If you're wondering why Kourtney got upset with Kim and whose side each Kar-Jenner sister is on, read ahead for everything we know about Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian Barker's feud on season 3 of The Kardashians.

Why is Kourtney upset with Kim?

Kourtney experienced magical moments during her wedding with Travis, which was sponsored by Dolce and Gabbana who curated looks for the bride and groom's blended families. In season 3 of The Kardashians, drama ensues between Kourtney and her sister, Kim, after the SKIMS mogul collaborated with Dolce and Gabbana for a runway show just four months after Kourtney's grandiose wedding ceremony.

In conversation with her supermodel sister, Kendall Jenner, Kourtney reveals that Kim's decision to work with the brand hurt her feelings and that Kim never asked her permission to move forward with the deal, which was originally supposed to be a SKIMS collaboration, according to Entertainment Tonight. She also said that Kim told her about her business venture once it was finalized without asking her how she felt about it.

"There's an abundance of opportunities," Kourtney said on The Kardashians as she cries to Kendall. "It's not about business and there's so much, it takes precedence over hurting your sister. It's legit copying my wedding," she said. The Lemme entrepreneur added that Kim's slogan for the collection, "Living La Dolce Vita," "was my wedding and how I've lived my life every summer for five years in a row."

Kourtney also told Kendall that she wasn't initially upset by the collaboration until momager Kris Jenner told her daughters to promote Kim's D&G collaboration on social media in their family group chat. When Kourtney said she was confused by what she was supposed to promote, Khloé allegedly replied, "You know, Dolce, the people who did your wedding," which Kourtney says "triggered" her. As a result, she was not only upset with Kim, but their mom, Kris.

"If I did it to Kim, she would freak out. To me, it was more personal, I think that's why it hurts my feelings because it was my actual wedding — the year your sister got married, you then made a deal to do this fashion show. Don't do it the same year that comes out four months later," Kourtney said. "It's not like I did their campaign, and then she did the campaign right after. Like, who cares? It's business, it's my actual wedding and that wasn't a business deal for me. I did it because it felt really personal."

More drama ensued when Kourtney revealed that the feud was based on the siblings' competitive nature.

“If she felt bad, don’t you think she should reach out and say, ‘Hey, I was thinking about it and I really feel …’ I don’t think that she feels [bad],” Kourtney told her sister Khloé. “It comes from an old thing of us being 18 months apart and just having a more competitive nature as sisters.”

Kourtney went on to say that she "[goes] to big extents to have my own thing. But there’s no sense of loyalty. It is almost like a greediness."

However, Kourtney seems unwilling to have that conversation with Kim, admitting that she's been putting off talking to her sister.

"It is who she is to her core. She’s so intolerable to even have a conversation with,” Kourtney said of Kim on the Thursday episode of The Kardashians. “She’s on her phone the whole time, she can hardly look up and is really hard to engage. It makes me want to run the other way. I just thought, ‘What else could you take from me? Could I have anything?"

What is Kim's stance in her feud with Kourtney?

Four months after Kourtney's fairytale D&G wedding in Portofino, Italy, Kim collaborated with the Italian fashion designers on a capsule collection. Despite how it looks, Kim says that she had no intentions of working with Dolce and Gabbana — the same brand that worked with Kourtney on her wedding looks — so soon after her older sister got married in May 2022. The SKIMS founder revealed she had a "lengthy" email chain with Dolce and Gabbana "begging" them to push the collection so that it didn't come close to her sister's wedding.

According to Kim's confessionals on The Kardashians, she called Kourtney twice to talk about the collaboration, explaining that her initial deal between SKIMS and D&G fell through and that she was still working with the brand on a Kim K capsule collection.

In September 2022, Kim's collection was presented during Milan Fashion Week, where she walked alongside Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

"I want to be respectful for Kourtney and this journey; I didn't want to do any of her looks even if I loved them," Kim said in this week's episode of the family's Hulu series. "I couldn't have been more mindful. I said, don't do the Madonna collection, don't do the lace collection, don't do anything Kourtney wore to her wedding out of respect for Kourtney."

Things got a bit messy, though, when Kim called Kourtney the "diva of all divas" for being upset with her over the business deal. Then, in episode 5 of the Hulu series, the feud escalated when Kim branded Kourt a "hater."

"She got so mad," Kim said to friends at a celebratory dinner after the runway show in Milan. "She said, “You're trying to copy me.' But she always tries to hate on the side. She's such a hater."

The drama just got a little deeper. On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim and Kourtney sat down together for a heart to heart to discuss the feud, and Kim argued that Kourt was actually the one who stole her 'Italian Dolce Vita' wedding aesthetic.

"I got married in Italy," Kim said in one of her confessional interviews. "Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocceli. Who performed at Kourtney's wedding? Andrea Bocceli. You stole my f**king wedding country and my wedding performer. Andrea Bocceli is my favorite male singer of all time, but I'm copying her Dolce Vita lifestyle."

Kim also told Kourt that everyone had assumed her wedding was sponsored by Dolce & Gabbana because it was held at their home, and all of the guests were styled in D&G.

"It wasn't sponsored," Kourtney clapped back. "I know that, and I don't care what anyone thinks. I didn't make that choice for my wedding because of money."

So, whose side is Khloé Kardashian on?

KoKo seems to be #TeamKim here. According to ET, the Good American founder told her mom, Kris, to respond to Kourtney's text in the family group chat. Though, in a conversation with Kim, she said Kourtney's texts were "crazy" and "not rational." During her confessional, Khloé also noted, "I think Domenico [Dolce] has found the most magical Dolce and Gabbana muse in Kim."

At dinner in Milan, Khloé said family shouldn't be jealous of one another. "How we were raised is that we are just happy for one another," she told a friend.

But later in the episode, Khloé revealed that Kourtney called her crying. "She feels like her wedding moment was taken away from her," Khlo said in a confessional. "She just feels like there's no loyalty in this family and that everyone wants what the other person has."

What about Kylie and Kendall Jenner?

Kourtney initially released her emotions with Kendall, who said her feelings were valid and that she sees "both sides" of the situation. "I hate that it affects you this badly," Kendall told Kourtney. "With that being said, I think as sisters we have to understand when someone has a job or when someone's getting paid a lot of money to do something, we have to see where this could work for both of us."

Though she comforted her big sis, Kendall revealed she was staying neutral throughout the conflict to steer clear of any drama.

The youngest in the Kar-Jenner clan, Kylie, also remained neutral during the D&G beef. While debriefing with Kendall, Kylie said, "I see both sides and I do think Kim should have done it, but I get it. I don't think anyone's in the wrong. I just didn't even think of it like that but it makes sense, the whole wedding and how that's obviously a very special thing for her."
