Fans of Chrisley Knows Best know that the family brings the drama. After all, every episode is full of it whether it be their eldest daughter, Savannah, having a surprise engagement or having the kids throw a wrench in Todd's plans. However, no one saw it coming when the family came under scrutiny for legal reasons.
Tuesday, June 7, Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty on all counts in their fraud trial which left fans wondering if their show will continue. Despite the guilty verdict and awaiting sentencing, the couple plans to appeal and there's no signs of the show being cancelled. Here's everything we know about the future of Chrisley Knows Best.
Season 9 is currently airing new episodes:
Todd and Julie were indicted in August 2019 on several counts of bank fraud. USA Network continued airing new episodes of Chrisley Knows Best afterward, but paused season 9 after premiering episode 19 in December 2021. Now, they're picking back up where they left off by continuing season 9 on Thursday, June 23.
The show has been renewed for Season 10, but it's TBD.
As USA Network's most watched original series, it's hard to say whether the show will move forward with season 10. The show was greenlighted for a tenth season earlier this year. Chase and Savannah's spinoff, Growing Up Chrisley and a new E! show with Todd as host called Love Limo were also given thumbs up.
Here's where things get sticky: The couple faces the possibility of serving up to 30 years in prison. Since sentencing isn't set until October 6, 2022 and filming for season 10 has not yet begun, no one is sure what the future of the show will look like.
