🚨 There are obviously MASSIVE spoilers ahead for Wednesday on Netflix! 🚨

Netflix's newest hit series Wednesday is here, and to say I am obsessed is an understatement. In particular, I cannot stop talking about Jenna Ortega's incredible portrayal of Wednesday Addams.

In case you don't know, Wednesday follows Wednesday Addams (Ortega) as she heads off to school at Nevermore Academy and ends up investigating a series of murders, all while trying to make new friends (and foes).

The series is essentially a spooky teen TV drama, which is exactly why I loved it so much. So with it being a high school–centered series, there was bound to be some quintessential teen moments, like a school dance.

In Episode 4, titled "Woe What a Night," the students of Nevermore Academy attend the annual Rave'N Dance, with Wednesday reluctantly attending with Tyler (Hunter Doohan).

Then, when "Goo Goo Muck" begins playing, Wednesday takes to the dance floor with Tyler, and it's then that she shows off her quintessential Wednesday Addams dance moves.

Of course, the scene ends with the dance being interrupted by some local teens who pull a prank, causing the sprinklers to go off and dousing all of the Nevermore students in what looks like blood.

For fans of any iteration of Wednesday Addams, Jenna's dancing is perfect here, and I can't help but watch the clip over and over again.

In an interview with Netflix, Jenna took fans behind the scenes of what went into filming the dance scene, where she even revealed that she choreographed it herself.

"I actually felt really insecure about this," Jenna said. "I choreographed that myself, and I think it's very obvious that I'm not a dancer or choreographer."

In an interview with Vulture, Jenna added, "I feel like I gained a new level of respect for that line of work."

Speaking about what inspired Wednesday's dance moves, Jenna tweeted that Siouxsie Sioux, Bob Fosse's Rich Man's Frug, Lisa Loring, Lene Lovich, Denis Lavant, and archival footage of goths dancing in clubs in the '80’s helped inspire this dance moment for her.

Of course, out of the list above, one name stands out in particular for Addams Family fans. Lisa Loring portrayed Wednesday Addams in the 1960s TV series, and you can spot a perfect Easter egg to one of Loring's Wednesday dance moves if you watch carefully.

One fan even pointed out that it looks like Jenna included a nod to John Astin's Gomez Addams from the TV series as well, which is so awesome.

Aside from choreographing the number, Jenna also worked closely with executive producer and director Tim Burton to pick the perfect song for the moment, which was the Cramps song "Goo Goo Muck."

Out of the entire series, a lot of fans are praising this dance moment in particular — it has even inspired a new TikTok trend — with a number of people, like myself, saying that this was THE moment when Jenna really became Wednesday Addams:
