Here's How Gordon Ramsey Reacted To A 'MasterChef' Contestant Kinda, Sorta Hitting On Him In Last Night's Episode

For all those not watching MasterChef's tenth season as rabidly as we are, you may have missed a lil funny bit on last night's episode. The second half of the show followed the contestants through their first elimination challenge, which was to make a dish inspired by chef Gordon Ramsey himself. It led to some...wild dishes. And some wild reactions from Gordon, Aarón Sanchez, and Joe Bastianich.

The most notable of meals was probably Deanna Colon's. The California-based vocal coach presented the judges with a scallop dish featuring fennel salad and rosemary mashed potatoes with the protein (which was, for the record, cooked well). When Deanna brought it up, the first thing Gordon asked was "Where is me on that plate?"

Her response? "I wanted to make something lean and sexy and refined."

So. That's not hitting on the famously outspoken chef, but it's also not not hitting on him? He recognized the compliment immediately and fired back with..."Lean, sexy, and refined? I'm old enough to be your grandad."

A good laugh was had all around, because wouldn't you know it? It turns out a bunch of the contestants find the chef to be lean, sexy, and refined! And yet, at the end of the day (~*~**~~spoiler alert*~*~*~*~*), Deanna was one of two contestants the judges sent home. The other was Kenny, whose visions for presentation they called "unmoldable," but it was Deanna's lack of foresight in pairing scallops with potatoes that really got them.

Anyway. It's already shaping up to be a sexy 'n' wild season!! Catch MasterChef at 8 p.m. EST and PST Wednesdays on FOX.
