It's the summer of Conrad. Or the summer of Jeremiah, if you are rooting for the underdog. Either way, The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 just dropped on Amazon Prime, and your favorite sappy show is finally back.

In case you're not already familiar, The Summer I Turned Pretty is a TV adaptation of a series of novels by author Jenny Han. If her name sounds familiar, you might recognize it from her other wildly popular RomCom series, To All The Boys I've Loved Before, which was *also* based on her novels. This woman can write some killer teen love stories!

TSITP features actress Lola Tung, who plays Belly, a teen girl who finds herself locked in a love triangle between the two Fisher brothers: Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). The story is set at the picturesque Cousins Beach, a fictional town "near Cape Cod," and it's probably the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

If you want to live out your TSITP fantasies, allow Women's Health to take you through a virtual trip of all the show's filming locations. (Sadly, the love triangle is not included.)

Cousins Beach isn't a real place.

Unfortunately, this beautiful town is not a real place. The books describe the location as somewhere near Cape Cod, Massachusetts, according to PEOPLE, but the show is actually mostly filmed in North Carolina. So, the good news is, you can still take a trip to revisit Belly's love story, but you'll have to use some imagination.

Most filming took place in the Wilmington, North Carolina, according to the North Carolina Film Office. Wilmington is actually a very popular filming location, and about 15 other productions filmed there in 2022 (including the upcoming movie Zoey 102!).

The show's beach scenes are mostly shot at three beaches: Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Fort Fisher, according to PEOPLE. And for diehard romance fans, the iconic Conrad and Belly moment where they're lying in the sand was captured at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area.

The Fisher's beach house is actually on a golf course.

This iconic beach house (which is where a huge chunk of the action takes place) is probably one of the most iconic filming locations in the entire show. And the actual "house" is located at Porters Neck Plantation in North Carolina, on a golf course.

Jenny Han had a clear vision for the type of home she wanted for the Fisher family. "It had to have that cedar shake on it because [she] wanted that Cape Cod Northeast look," Lindsay Fort, the show's location manager, told PEOPLE.

This home, which has five bedrooms and six bathrooms, is actually only used for exterior shots, according to PEOPLE. Most of the interior views, including the kitchen scenes, were shot at Screen Gems Studio, using sound stages.

The Country Club was filmed at an actual country club and a school.

Yup, the exterior shots for the fancy country club where Belly takes her debutante classes, and where her brother Steven and love interest Jeremiah work, actually feature the Cape Fear Country Club. Unfortunately, this club is members-only.

Scenes from inside the club were filmed at St. Mary Catholic School in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The beach volleyball courts aren't actually on the beach.

In season 1, the cast heads to a beach volleyball court for a fundraising game. However, the scene was not filmed on a beach at all. It was actually filmed at Cap'n Bills Backyard Grill and Volleyball Facility in Wilmington, which has several sand volleyball courts and leagues. You can even watch the games live online through the facility's webcam.

Lindsay Fort told PEOPLE that the crew hung a lot of banners around the facility while filming to hide the fact that they weren't actually on a beach.

They're actually driving in those car scenes.

You can probably spy a red Jeep anywhere, so this isn't technically a location. However, here's the inside scoop on how those car ride scenes between Belly and Jeremiah were actually filmed:

Yup, a TikTok account caught the production driving a dolly-like driving contraption through the streets of Wilmington in August 2022.

They didn't actually film at Brown University.

Okay, if you haven't watched yet, this one is a little bit of a spoiler. One of the characters in TSITP goes to Brown University. But instead of heading down to Providence, the production used the campus at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.

The show filmed at many other spots around Wilmington.

SITP also shot on a boardwalk, in bars, and in a bookstore, all in North Carolina.Amazon Prime

Seriously, the city has a ton of iconic spots that make cameos during the filming. From a bridal shop called Camille's of Wilmington to a "longtime Wilmington convenience store" called Russell's Quik Stop, the list seems never ending, per the Wilmington Star-Tribune. However, some spots, like The Whale of A Tale bookshop featured in season 1, had their names changed. This bookstore is actually Papercut Books, according to PEOPLE.

In season 2, some scenes were filmed at local bars and a restaurants, including The Fat Pelican, Rooster and The Crow, and Hell's Kitchen in downtown Wilmington. Fun fact: Hell's Kitchen was also used a setting in Dawson's Creek. The show also filmed at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, which is seen briefly in the trailer.

IDK about you, but I'm taking a trip to Cousins Beach this weekend (from the comfort of my couch, of course). You can stream The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 now on Amazon Prime.
