Now that Vine is no more, TikTok has swooped in and taken over that micro video space on the Internet. It's gained a huge unique audience over time and started its own trends. TikTok has its own stars who are making big names for themselves and Chase Hudson is definitely one of them. With 15 million followers on TikTok alone, he's turned being an e-boy into tons of deals.

Chase Hudson aka Lil' Huddy is a 17 year old from California who's everywhere right now. Across his Twitter, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, Huddy has over 20 million followers. He may have started out on YouTube, but TikTok is where he really went viral. Here's everything you need to know about him.

He has 15 million followers on TikTok

He's known for his dancing, lip syncing vids and skits.

He's got a bunch of subscribers on YouTube

Even though Chase is really big on TikTok, he's got over 800k subscribers on YouTube. He posts challenges and vlogs on there. It's got much more personal vibe than his TikTok.

He co-founded the Hype House

Chase is one of the founders of the Hype House (which he wanted to name House of Olympus but got outvoted), a LA mansion where a bunch of TikTok stars go to work on their craft. All these TikToks being made in one space has helped the members grow their already huge audiences. In an interview with The Tom Ward Show, co-founder of the house and YouTuber Thomas Petrou said that after being in the house for about a month and a half, Chase's TikTok followers went from 3.5 million to 12 million. "If [Chase] would have went and got an apartment by himself, he'd probably be at five, six million, but not 12," said Thomas.

One thing that sets Chase and Thomas' Hype House apart from other creator houses is that they don't take a cut of the money their members make. Others like Jake Paul takes a cut from the creator collective he founded called Team 10.

He acts as the Hype House's talent scout

In an article by The New York Times, Huddy was called the house's "unofficial talent scout and a behind-the-scenes operator." The Hype House is always looking for new up and coming talent and Chase has an eye for it. "The weird people get the furthest on the internet,” he told The Times. “You either have to be talented at something, or a weird funny mix, or extremely good looking.”

He's a total e-boy

He's got the nail polish, the beanies and the black baggy clothes.

He calls Billie Eilish one of his fashion icons

In an interview with Famous Birthdays, he said Billie has influenced his style. He said, "I like wearing baggier stuff now. I wear shoes that are humongous now because of her."

He's signed to WME

In January 2020, Chase and the Hype House signed with WME, one of the largest talent agencies in the world. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chase and the Hype House will be working with WME, "in all areas, including digital, fashion, modeling, music, touring, commercials, film and television and licensing."

You can now wear Lil' Huddy merch

Now, he has his own merch. You can buy hoodies, t-shirts, phone cases and more featuring his nickname.

He wants to be a singer

Chase isn't stopping at TikTok stardom. Although he has mentioned that he has plans for the future of Hype House, he ultimately want to be a singer, too. Insider says, "he wants to get into singing within the next five years."

He got chased by fans at VidCon

2019's VidCon might have been a scary one for Chase. Although he didn't speak on this himself, teenage girls were reportedly chasing someone in a mask through a crowd at the event. Buzzfeed News later spoke to some of those girls and they claimed the masked man was Chase.

He's a BTS stan

Chase is a member of the BTS Army. He got tickets to see the K-pop group in 2019.

He faced backlash for saying the N-word

In 2019, a video leaked of Chase saying the racial slur. He went on TikTok to apologize. Although he didn't specify what video he was referring to, he said, "I just wanted to make an apology video for the video that's been spreading around. What I said was wrong and doesn't need to be defended. What I said was not right in any way and should not be used by my mouth or anyone else's." He went on to say that he's apologizing to both the TikTok community and the black community.

He used to date fellow TikTok star Cynthia Parker

Cynthia has 1.3 million followers on TikTok, and there were rumors that she and Chase were dating. But in July 2019, Huddy confirmed their split. In a tweet, he said, "me n cynthia are no longer together. love the gal to death but things just haven’t been working out. i hope y’all understand."

Now he's dating another TikTok star: Charli D'Amelio

Charli D'Amelio has been called the "reigning queen of TikTok" and for good reason — she's got over 32 million followers even though she only started her account less than a year ago. The two are all over each other's TikToks, but these shots on Charli's Insta of Chase kissing her basically confirmed their relationship.

Even though they seem to be dating, they aren't putting labels on anything. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Chase said, "it's exclusive, we're not talking to anyone else, we really like each other. We just don't want to put a label on it yet."

In a separate interview, Charli told Entertainment Tonight pretty much the same thing. "It's great, he's a really, really sweet boy," D'Amelio said. "Not 'boyfriend' yet, but definitely exclusive."
