It's wild to imagine, but The Masked Singer has already reached the ten-season milestone. And there's no sign of the Emmy-winning series slowing down any time soon, as another group of masked celebs takes to the stage in pursuit of the Golden Mask trophy.

"It's still surreal," Ken Jeong tells Parade.com about the milestone. "It does blow my mind; I've been so blessed to have been a part of so many things. I'm just very grateful, you know, and I'm very happy. And I'm continuing to have fun; I'm continuing to love what I do. And I think that I just want that feeling for the rest of my life. I remember Will Arnett when he was a guest judge. And I remember he was telling me, 'You having fun makes me happy.' So I took a lot of pride in that. Seeing me genuinely having a good time on the show is just so important."

How does The Masked Singer season 10 work?

The last two seasons of The Masked Singer showed its biggest format shift yet. Every episode, multiple masks took to the stage, with only one surviving to move on. After three rounds, the sole survivor would earn a spot into the semifinals at the end of the season. New to last season was the "Ding Dong Keep it On" bell, which gave three masks a second chance of coming back into the competition after elimination. It's unknown whether season 10 will stick with this format, or do something new entirely.

How does The Masked Singer work?

The Masked Singer is based on the South Korean show King of Mask Singer. A group of celebrities compete on the show anonymously in costumes over a series of episodes. In each episode, a portion of the competitors are paired off into face-off competitions, in which each will perform a song of his or her choice in their real voice. From each face-off, the panelists and live audience vote; the winner is safe for the week, while the loser is put up for elimination. At the end of the episode, the losers of the face-offs are then subjected to the earlier votes of the panelists to determine who will not continue; the eliminated singer then takes off their mask to reveal their identity.

How do they keep the singers a secret?

Keeping the identities of the singers a secret is one of the biggest challenges on The Masked Singer, executive producer Craig Plestis said during the Fox Entertainment panel at Deadline’s Contenders Television virtual event. “Every season it’s hard, a lot of people are trying to spy and get in with cameras on set. I always say the best job to have on The Masked Singer is to be part of the security detail, there’s more security than producers on the show. Without the secrets, the show is blown right open.”
